Siya has served the community in every way possible with every means he has.
YOU, the resident of Ward 130, have the power to give him a mandate to expand his reach to all corners of the ward.
Vote Siya on the 10th of September and watch effective service delivery unfold before your eyes.

🗳️ “It’s time to bring service delivery to Soweto Ward 130. 💚
On the 10th of September Siyabonga Zwane will be standing in as our councillor candidate for the by-elections in the ward.
For far too long residents have been subject to ward councillors who only collect paychecks.
ActionSA prides itself in presenting competent leaders like Siyabonga who put the residents first to build functional communities.

This morning in Hammanskraal, 53 illegal immigrants were arrested while traveling on a bus. Of those, 17 females, 1 male, and 16 children were deported back to Zimbabwe, and 19 were detained at the Hammanskraal police station.
I repeat, we have a national crisis!
Today we successfully launched the ActionSA branch in Ward 8, Newcastle Municipality.
This is an important step as we strengthen our presence on the ground and prepare for the 2026 Local Government Elections. Building strong, community-based structures like this branch ensures that ActionSA is connected to the people we serve and ready to deliver real solutions.
Seeing a clean inner city - with maintained sidewalks and public spaces - reminds me of the work we did in Johannesburg through the A Re Sebetseng clean-up campaign.
Well done to Mayor Dr @NasiphiM and her team. Let's continue building clean cities our people can be proud of!
The , uncomfortable truths behind the Department of Infrastructure Development!!!
This entrusted backbone of public service continues to underperform at alarming levels, failing in meeting revenue targets and drowning in non-payment by even government officials.
We are witnessing the slow death of local government. Municipalities across Gauteng are broke, dysfunctional, and increasingly turning on the very people they’re meant to serve.
Nowhere is this clearer than in the growing scandal of electricity surcharges, a silent but deadly tax on working class communities.
In Johannesburg, residents are now forced to pay a fixed R230 monthly surcharge just for the privilege of being connected to electricity even if they consume nothing. In Ekurhuleni,these charges were quietly embedded in the final tariffs for the new financial year.
The pattern is clear:
when budgets are broken, it’s the poor who are made to pay!!
@Action4SA firmly demands
1. That COGTA publicly account for the legality and fairness of fixed electricity charges;
2 . That unfunded municipal budgets are met with intervention, not applause;
3. And that financial recovery means empowering communities, not extracting from them.
we cannot stand by while municipalities tax poverty and call it governance!!
Today, our councillors were out in different areas across the city. The mission was to bring to light the state of our parks.
As we commemorate Youth Day this month, parks are often used as places where young people gather and enjoy themselves.

Today, our councillors were out at Arts and Recreational Centres across the city.
As we commemorate Youth Day this month, it was important to look into these facilities that are meant to open opportunities for young people.

ActionSA calls for the immediate removal of Adv Shamila Batohi as the National Director of Public Prosecutions.

We further demand a full parliamentary inquiry into the NPA’s ongoing prosecutorial failures and the extent to which political interference has infected its operations.
Our Caucus Leader @DoloPhillip remarks during the budget speech debate yesterday.
“Insourcing is a win for WORKERS, a win for SERVICE DELIVERY, a win for our CITY and a win-win for @Action4SA”

[BUDGET SPEECH]
Expecting a key announcement on INSOURCING.
ActionSA strong support for insourcing is well-known, and its inclusion in the budget would be a significant highlight.
Failure to address insourcing would likely be seen as a disappointment for workers.
This afternoon, @Action4SA is taking the lead to present to South Africans a policy lifeline that will reroute South Africa’s Economic Transformation agenda towards real equitable redress. This country remains unequal. Millions of citizens have not benefited from South Africa’s democratic process. Many of our youth are unemployed, with little chance of earning a living. This is unjust.
