Today we , through the Kenya Urban Roads Authority, took over the Kapenguria Town Roads project from the contractor.
The roads, located in Kapenguria Town, West Pokot County, includes the Makutano Primary School Link Road, Lityei Secondary School Link Road, Airstrip Link Road, totalling to 5.5km.
Its completion will enable easy access to Kapenguria CBD, Kapenguria Airstrip, town markets, several learning institutions, hospitals, government administration offices, residential areas, religious centers as well as recreational facilities.
We are working very hard to complete all our pending roads and to ensure that it’s done to the required standards.
