If a thousand users use Risex around the world,
Know that I am proudly one of them
If only one user remains who still uses Risex,
That user is me
And if one day there is not a single Risex user left on Earth,
Then know that I am no longer among the living
As long as my heart still beats
My journey with @risextrade will never end 🫠
RISEx Season 1: Ignite is live as of today. i have been looking at how it compares to other programs so let me break it down
HL S1 back in November 2023 was straightforward. trade perps, earn points based on volume, 1M points per week. it worked but it naturally favors whales and HFTs basically
Lighter ran 250k points per week, methodology undisclosed to prevent gaming
Variational is still going through Q3 2026, weekly drops every Friday, volume based with tier multipliers and a 10% boost if you were early
RISEx will be distributing 200k points per week, first drop tuesday 28 july at 14:00 UTC. the model changes every week and weightings aren't published, same reasoning. here's what counts toward points. volume, OI, how long you hold, fees paid, slippage, negative markouts, and referrals get you an extra 10% of your referee's points on top of your own
imo that's a more honest model because it's not just a volume race, different types of traders actually have more of a chance. if you traded before today you're not left out either. genesis traders from season 0 get retroactive points based on real activity, distribution drops thursday 23 july at 14:00 UTC
now the part i find interesting. 100% of RISE points are allocated to RISEx users, traders, LPs, and builder code integrators. the reasoning is that RISE is an exchange chain and RISEx is the core product. other apps on the chain like lending protocols and AMMs benefit from RISEx activity, either by plugging into its liquidity or because RISEx itself is a user of their product. so the points flow from the source
also worth knowing, early RISE supporters will receive additional benefits within the points program. details will be announced soon
