So it seems ANA has decided to fully embrace the US style ticketing system. If you want to fly cheaply, you can not choose your seat anymore, you can only take one checked bag, and cannot cancel! I hope JAL keeps their current system and ANA suffers for being cheap!

I’m sitting in a booth at Hama sushi and in the booth next there is a 4-5 year old leaning over the belt, constantly coughing, touching the conveyor, the cups up above, the the mother and grandmother haven’t said a word to him. I’m about to go over and ask her to watch her kid!

Today is my Japaniversary! 33 years ago I landed at Narita to start a one year contract teaching English! Who knew a year could last this long! Looking forward to more years and good times!
