Come with me to the Minnesota DFL State Convention!
Congrats to my friend @amyklobuchar on winning the DFL endorsement. Could not be more excited to have Amy as our next governor! ๐บ๐ธ๐
I became a doctor because I believe every person deserves care, dignity, and the right to make decisions about their own body. That's the same reason I ran for Congress and it's why I'm running again. I hope you'll join me. ๐
As a doctor, I've seen what happens when workers don't have paid sick leave or decent healthcare. May Day is a reminder of what's at stake. I'm proud to stand with workers every day.
Working people built this country. They deserve wages they can live on, benefits that actually cover them, and conditions that don't cost them their health.
Beyond grateful to earn the DFL endorsement. ๐๐บ๐ธ Itโs been the honor of my life to serve this community, fighting for the people and democracy I love. I'm grateful for the trust you've placed in me, and I promise to do everything I can to continue to be a voice for CD3.
This is a setback. But Iโve seen Minnesotans fight for what they love, and I have no doubt we will protect the Boundary Waters for our kids, our grandkids, and every family that hasnโt made their first trip there yet. ๐๏ธ๐ถ
Happy Earth Day ๐
Every summer, my family and I pack up and head to the Boundary Waters. Itโs where we recharge, reconnect, and remember what really matters. Thereโs no place like it, and I know so many of you feel the same way.
Thatโs why last weekโs Senate vote was so tough
The idea that a foreign mining company could be allowed to put this irreplaceable wilderness at risk โ for the benefit of a Chilean billionaire and not Minnesota โ is something that cannot stand.
The people stepping up to run for office are thoughtful, committed, and ready to serveโand they should give all of us real hope for a healthy, thriving future. I'm looking forward to the CD3 convention! This is what democracy looks like! ๐บ๐ธ
America is at a crossroads, and who we elect this November matters. ๐ณ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ
I had the privilege of attending Senate district conventions across CD3, and I left feeling incredibly inspired.
So when Republicans started threatening the care they deserved, I couldn't just stand by. I ran for office because my patients needed someone in that room who actually knew what was at stake.
For over 20 years, I showed up for my patients every single day. I saw firsthand how decisions made in Washington showed up in my exam room โ in my patients' health, their options, their outcomes.
