Flip Philly Red & Chicago Flips Red had a nice, fun event, an informative event in North Philadelphia in April when originally our PA GOP Gubernatorial candidate, Stacy Garrity was scheduled to attend but canceled on. Because the current Governor, Josh Shapiro is a bad man, horrible leader and has offered nothing but racist, pandering hairstyle laws like the Crown Act, meant to “protect” black women’s ability to wear what ever style they choose to work, because he has offered nothing but advocacy for the continuation of black babies to be murdered in the womb, I’d thought it would be great to get Stacy Garrity to deliver a better message to all of Philadelphia, especially in the black community.

Because we can’t cry about a community that votes only one way and never show up to deliver an alternative, correct? We were hoping to hear a message about what she could do to influence anything when it comes to Mayor Cherelle Parker implementing predatory taxes on Philadelphia, what she would do to turn around Philly being one of the largest cities in poverty in the country. Economically what does that look like for a turn around? What on an influential level could she do about District Attorney Larry Krasner letting convicted murderers out of prison? What could she do about City Council and their ICE OUT legislation and their legislation attacking property owners and them strengthening squatter rights? What about the Philadelphia Parking Authority and their predatory practices?

What about SEPTA and their money laundering scheme, what about the Philadelphia school district being among the worst in the state? Kids grades 3rd to 8th, graduating with reading proficiency levels at 33% and arithmetic at 25% but as we see the Mayor is headed to Harrisburg to advocate for more money. Did she have any plans for Kensington and the opioid epidemic?

We haven’t had our questions answered, we can’t get her to come and advocate for black Philadelphians and all of Philadelphia to vote differently. She will be at the next Philly GOP event though, a barbecue for Party insiders.

Joyless Reid can say whatever she wants about the 4th of July. That’s her right as an American.

But when I look at that flag, I don’t see oppression. I see opportunity.

I see the American Dream that I have been blessed to live.

I see a flag that has been draped over the caskets of brave men and women who never made it home.

I see the generation that stormed the beaches of Normandy, charged through machine-gun fire, and helped rid the world of fascism.

I see the sacrifices of millions of Americans who built, defended, and improved this country.

That’s why people from every corner of the world still come here chasing freedom and opportunity.

So don’t expect the rest of us to be ashamed of loving our country.

On this 250th anniversary of our independence, I’ll proudly celebrate the greatest experiment in self-government ever created, honor those who sacrificed to preserve it, and thank God for the privilege of being an American.

This is Democrat policy in one brutal picture.

Not because there is a secret memo saying, “Make Black people steal so prisons get paid.”

It is by design in the architecture of the policy.

First, redefine accountability as racism.

Then lower consequences for theft, repeat offending and public disorder.

Tell Black Americans that standards are oppressive and criminal conduct is merely the product of “systems.”

When businesses close, neighborhoods decay and law-abiding residents demand relief, pour more money into prosecutors, courts, shelters, intervention programs, consultants and correctional institutions to manage the crisis government helped create.

That is the machine.

The offender becomes a permanent client.

The victim becomes an afterthought.

The neighborhood becomes a funding justification.

And the politician becomes the compassionate hero for spending more public money on damage produced by his own ideology.

Retailers reported that average shoplifting incidents in 2023 were 93 percent higher than in 2019. State and local governments already spend tens of billions annually on corrections. Yet the political class keeps treating enforcement as the problem instead of asking why repeat offenders believe consequences are negotiable.

Black people do not need racial excuses for theft.

They need safe stores, functioning neighborhoods, intact families, real education, employment and equal consequences under the law.

Any policy that expects less from Black citizens is not compassion.

It is racial condescension with a government contract attached.

That is why it feels designed.

Because every failure creates another publicly funded institution, while the people living inside the failure are told to keep voting for its architects.
