In case you missed it, here's something we worked on with Panavision
to show you how we got the BIG, BOLD COLOR of I Love Boosters
And why you MUST see it in theaters
@Nan_dre_ The whole post 9/11 stuff always irked me about that trilogy, it's why I always put Raimi's Spider-Man over it as a comic book adaptation cause it remembers why the hero does what they do, the people of the city
Ok-
We didnt get the screen count we wanted for I Love Boosters- but we got 1700, which is good.
This means: if it's not on a screen near u tomorrow, it won't get there-
unless we blow it out on 1700, then we can get more.
So- please travel to a screen even if it's not close!
Today marks Nakba Day, an annual day of remembrance to commemorate the expulsion of more than 700,000 Palestinians between 1947 and 1949 during the creation of the State of Israel and the year that followed.
Inea is a New Yorker and a Nakba survivor. She shared her story with us — one of home, tradition and memory over generations.
Today marks the 78th anniversary of the Nakba (catastrophe), during which more than 750,000 Palestinians were expelled and over 400 villages were destroyed to establish the State of Israel.
It’s been public knowledge for years that Annapurna is owned by Megan Ellison. Why are you acting like you’ve just uncovered a conspiracy theory?
Wait until he finds out that SNK is owned by a Saudi prince.
Where was this fire about calling Mixtape an industry plant when NEXON DEVELOPED Dave the Diver?? That game had a way more direct relation to capital than Beethoven & Dinosaur does with their publisher, Annapurna.
@jk_tidwell Another tidbit that I find funny is that Shirow drew her boyfriend like late 80s Bruce Willis, so you kinda get an idea of the men that Kusanagi is into lol
@G0ffThew You can honestly read it as Stacy having a crush on both Van and Cassandra, like it's that vague with small hints like longing looks and quiet moments
"Mixtape isn't an indie game because it has licensed music"
You fucking idiots.
Beethoven & Dinosaur's first game, The Artful Escape, was a big hit for an indie (and it won a BAFTA). It's estimated to have pulled in about $3M from Steam alone, and that's not counting the subsidized licensing deals they got from Game Pass and console sales; which obviously spiked after the awards it won.
They're a small developer. Your local supermarket employs more people than they do. They also got assistance from VicScreen, which is the government of Victoria agency that assists with movies, shows, and (yes) games.
So a small developer's debut game is a big hit, they get money from that, and then they get assistance from their local government for more funding.
There's no conspiracy here. You're just dumbasses.
