@AIandDesign@Meta Everything is possible… in the USA. The land of unregulated exploitation of the Human Resources. Praise the ultra capitalistic ideology and their limitless opportunities. Eat or got eaten. Everyone can make it. Everyone can become a billionaire. Arbeit macht frei.
We have an agreement with Injective in place that:
- Guarantees years of IBC support
- Uses a % of issuance incentives paid by Circle to buy ATOM
- Ensures parity between Injective & other Cosmos chains for fees to access USDC
None of this existed with Noble. This might be the first win-win-win for ATOM, Cosmos builders, and Cosmos users
Once this is properly integrated into Skip:Go, it'll also be a huge upgrade to Cosmos UX: CCTPv2 supports instant bridging at low cost and hooks.
@PandaDaytona@internpierre My spider sense says you’re mostly just repeating the usual American talking points about Europe. True though, Hermès and Louis Vuitton are not exactly innovation-driven. They’re just very old luxury craftsmanship brands Americans love to buy as their beloved status symbols.
The only bridge that actually works is @IBCProtocol.
Everything else should be phased out by the industry.
Most of the rest just repackaged centralized routing as "DeFi," blurred what real DeFi means for users, and kept losing user funds to exploits.
Besu is the number one blockchain ledger used by banks today
And the team now has a POC of IBC enabling direct interoperability between Besu-based ledgers, Cosmos, and Ethereum without the kind of oracles that allowed LayerZero to get hacked the other day
What institutions are describing is sovereign infrastructure with open interoperability. Control over their stack, compliance logic, and risk perimeter, but with the ability to plug into a broader liquidity network on their own terms.
The institutions moving fastest are the ones that understand that ownership of the infrastructure and access to the network must work in concert.
We've been writing about this concept in detail recently. You'll see what sovereign control over code, compliance, and risk without sacrificing network connectivity actually looks like in practice:
