Convenor of CCT deployees and EFF Member of Parliament, Commissar , @veronica_mente conducted an oversight visit to Mpindweni High School in Umthatha and found appalling conditions that reflect over a decade of government neglect.

Over 750 learners are crammed into overcrowded classrooms, some with more than 100 students are forced to share limited desks and chairs daily.

Staffrooms have no furniture and double as storerooms. Shockingly, the school has received only four calculators to support hundreds of learners. For 12 years, the school’s pleas to the provincial government have been ignored.
