You can't stop the bombs
But you can send bread
Safaa Omar Hegazi is a 30-year-old married woman with three children who lives with her family of five in a worn but usable tent in Gaza. They have been forced to evacuate five times and are now paying $100 per month in rent for the land where the tent is pitched. Her husband Mosa was shot in the shoulder at the American aid distribution point, leaving him unable to work, while Safaa herself remains unemployed, so the family has no income at all. Their five-year-old daughter has developed speech difficulties from the ongoing trauma and needs speech therapy sessions that cost $30 per week to help her regain her ability to speak. With winter approaching, Safaa and her family urgently need support for food, clothing, tent rent, heating, and any medical expenses that might arise, as they have no resources left to cover illness or basic daily needs.
