At the barbing salon.
Barber about to cut a kid. Asks his father what hairstyle he should cut for him.
Father says: "Ask him what he wants."
I shed a tear inside.
Last evening I returned to a subdued Makerere University to officiate at Mitchelex (Mitchell and Complex halls) solidarity reunion dinner at the great Mitchell Hall. Thank you Mitchlex solidarity for honouring me. The dinner was also graced with other solidarity ancestors such as Hon Barnabas Tinkasimire. Dinners are the few social gatherings not yet banned by the regime using vice chancellor Prof Barnabas Nawangwe. Morning joggings have been added on the not to do list. The Red freshers gowns have gone. If you were in Lumumba Hall, your Gongom is no more. The crime of this statue is that it inspires violence. The social construction of the university completely destroyed. Gatherings of more than 10 students require prior approval. There is a military detach stationed there since the presidential elections in January, in addition to a police division! Makerere is now unrecognizable!
If men truly h8ted intelligent women, female doctors, lawyers and professors wouldn’t be getting married daily.
The real issue is that many women confuse arrogance and combative behavior with intelligence.
Rule of thumb is that whenever you don't understand something about women, ask your mother first, then Grandma, sisters, friends, in that order before you come to any social media.
@KagutaMuseveni “He was part of those that caused load-shedding in Uganda in 2005 and onwards, having sabotaged our partnership with AES”
He seems to be an agent of imperialists
Love the Ugandan pushback on the fake Ebola press. None of this stuff is accidental, it’s all done with the worst of intentions for African countries.
More reasons as to why we need a credible Pan- African media house telling our stories.
@Magezi_DavidW You were laughing the whole week because a private instructor was exposing his special needs student on the internet for having learnt only the baby steps after a three months training ?
As Uganda prepares to celebrate first oil, buried beneath the headlines are local contractors and suppliers crushed by years of unpaid invoices for work done at @TotalEnergiesUG's Tilenga project
A country speaking in billions shouldn't let its own citizens survive on resilience & prayer
