“Sifuna is saying a lot. Unfortunately, some of us have a short-sighted way of looking at things,” – A Kenyan woman explains why the rule of law and constitutionalism are the only ways this country can be liberated.
Ruto’s PR machine wants us to debate economic corridors, SGR extensions, and the Rironi-Mau Summit road. But how do smooth highways benefit Eric Shieni, Beasely, or Denzel Omondi? Concrete and steel cannot replace human life or erase state-sanctioned murder.
This happened under your administration. No action was taken, no one was held accountable. Now, all of a sudden, you feel remorse for those who died protesting. Now you understand no Kenyan deserves to die for speaking out? Where was that conscience when it mattered? Your sudden remorse is nothing but hypocrisy.
HE @PR_Diomaye of Senegal became President at 44. 2027 @edwinsifuna will be 45. True the opposition must democratically choose one presidential candidate. But you mean SIFUNA, BABA’s reincarnation, shielded by a BABU Nairobi governor, cannot lift a Sword, Bible & Constitution?
Argentina has played against Algeria and Cape Verde, and its next match is against Egypt. That midget is actually playing AFCON while legends are playing worldcup.
A lot of Kenyans are a confused and mediocre lot. How do you expect a revolution from charlatans who have spent more than 5 years in parliament without introducing any progressive legislation, which is their primary role?
If the two Linda Tumbo groups were progressive, they would be robustly using the floor of parliament, parliamentary privileges and the trappings that come with being an MPig to ensnare @WilliamsRuto and UDA, including tabling an impeachment motion against Ruto—and using it to rally Kenyans on concrete progressive ideas, vision and programs.
It doesn’t matter whether the motion passes or fails. What’s important is using it to ARTICULATE a progressive vision and to shake up Ruto & Co.
Why haven’t they unveiled any platform different from Ruto’s? Spending hundreds of millions of mostly misappropriated public funds on political rallies is NOT an alternative vision and won’t transform the incurably defective colonial state.
