@syleecia The Survey on Consumer Finances, by the Federal Reserve, found that the racial wealth gap increased by about $50k during covid. Folk claim to support Trump b/c of a better quality of life his first term don’t even realize the economic losses they had.

[Moses Jackson @MosesJacksonII]

The irony of mis/disinformation is that it’s common in this information age.

Folks rather repeat what they heard, promote opinions, or both, before searching out a fact.

The danger is nothing good comes from a lie.

My people perish for a lack of knowledge.. we know the scripture.

However, Hosea shared that the lack of knowledge is not ignorance or being unlearned. It is having knowledge but rejecting it as if you don’t know.

Dr. Angelou said, when you know better, do better.

@jemelehill There were 14 other candidates who debated their policies yet the one who skipped them seemingly had the best concepts of a plan. Projection is real smh..

ANY Black man or woman considering voting for Donald Trump should listen to ALL of this. This is the results of a Biden-Harris Dept. of Justice civil rights division investigation into the Lexington, Miss. police department. There have been more than 12 such investigations by the Biden-Harris DOJ. How many under Trump-Pence? ONE. Trump's attorney generals Jeff Sessions and Bill Barr said such investigations "hurt police morale." Here is what they discovered: these racist cops unlawfully unlawfully Arrests, jails and detains people who cannot pay fines or fees, without assessing their ability to pay; Uses excessive force; Conducts stops, searches and arrests without probable cause, including jailing people on illegal “investigative holds” and arresting people solely because they owe outstanding fines; Imposes money bail without justification or assessment of ability to pay; Jails people without prompt access to court; Violates the rights of people engaged in free speech and expression, including by retaliating against people who criticize the police; Discriminates against Black people; and Operates under an unconstitutional conflict of interest because LPD’s funding depends on the money it raises through its enforcement. The ONLY way we hold cops accountable is ELECT HARRIS-WALZ. This will NEVER happen under Trump-Vance. They will let the cops run amok and BLACK PEOPLE will suffer at the hands of abusive cops. THIS is why we elected Biden-Harris. Let's keep it up with Harriz-Walz.

@jemelehill Guy is out here simply winging it.. didn’t participate in any of the rep debates but won their nomination.

[Moses Jackson @MosesJacksonII]

@tariqnasheed Hopefully, you all with platforms/radio stations can get together and discuss these topics like how Tavis Smiley hosted the discussion back in the day.

[Moses Jackson @MosesJacksonII]

@unclelukereal1 @tariqnasheed @VP I don’t understand why WE’RE having a debate about a Black woman not being a Black woman. For as long as we can remember, if one parent was Black then the kids were too, and there was never anything wrong with the children embracing both sides of their family.

[Moses Jackson @MosesJacksonII]

@tariqnasheed 45 allowed the pandemic to get so bad, even when they knew the dangers.
People died, kids/students had their learning disrupted, businesses closed, the wealth gap grew $50k.. all while 45 spent much time playing golf.
If she’s done nothing, then how has 45 helped?

54% of American adults (16-74) have a literacy level below a sixth grade level. Most of which are American born, English speaking.

This deficiency projects a national cost of about $2.2 trillion.

According to Forbes, and it is solvable.

@TalbertSwan “Once a government is committed to the principle of silencing the voice of opposition, it has only one way to go, and that is down the path of increasingly repressive measures..”

Words are powerful and declarations? Even more so. When folks “say it with their chests”, loud and proud…it must be true, RIGHT?!

NAH. Donald Trump is no different than Christopher Columbus. Two lost white men telling you they accomplished something the didn’t.

In this two part “Break It Down” I use my political privilege (s/o to my brother @DrWesBellamy) to help Blacks for Trump and #SexxyRed understand what it is and what it ain’t.

A bill becomes law because of an act of Congress (the Senate and House take a vote and send to the President for signature). That will never change.

Don’t let nobody say it with their chest and lie to your face! PPP ain’t free and neither are the homies.

I did this out of love. I am committed to teaching with grace. ✊🏾💞
