A good number of my clients just want a nice comfortable house to buy, which is great but here’s what I tell them. “You buy the neighbourhood, not the property”.
1. You Can Interview a Real Estate Agent.
People mostly turn to agents they know but it’s still important to interview them before settling on one. Some agents only do real estate as a side job, meaning they might not be as plugged into the market as someone who is full-time.
2. An Attorney Is Equally Important.
Your attorney at closing provides an extra layer of protection. A good attorney will make closing smooth and limit any kind of exposure during a sale or a purchase.
5. Real estate protects against inflation.
As the money in circulation increases the value of properties tend to rise, as real estate is often where surplus money is invested. Having some money inside real estate will protect you from inflation and any future currency volatility.
