Do you know the thing you will never see in this video unless I tell you?
Jim Iyke made his wife experience what women do in 97% of marriages, which is neglecting the man emotionally the moment kids come into the picture.
It is one of the few and rare times that a woman will experience “women in marriage,” and I love it.
But the only difference here, and the lesson-packed part, is that when women do this, when women become obsessive with the kids while showing little care and affection for the husband, the man never leaves.
He complains randomly and sparingly to the woman and sometimes to friends about how his wife is a very good mother to his child, but “the only thing is” she does not like sex anymore.
They laugh about it, drink over it, and he returns home to the torture, but will never leave.
Jim Iyke’ ex experienced what many married men experience in marriage, the decline in affection and, in some cases, the alienation of intimacy, but she chose to leave.
The irony in this video is not that she left.
The irony is that millions of men live this exact reality quietly for decades without leaving.
The world is made up of good and bad people, and morality is not gendered, but the only people capable of being good are men. And they are.
When bastards like @AyoBankole call contract staff "ultra low level",
You won't know he's referring to BSc and MSc graduates.
Just imagine what I received in my DMs. Look at what Ecobank is paying her staff AFTER SIX YEARS.
149K and look at the target.
When you understand these verses, you will no longer fight anyone over their blasphemies against Allah and His Messenger (ṣallāLlāhu 'alayhi wa sallam) ever again.
BismiLlāh ar-Rahmān ar-Rahīm
(10:99)
“And if your Lord had willed, all those on earth would have believed, every one of them entirely. So, would you compel people until they become believers?”
(10:100)
“And it is not for any soul to believe except by the permission of Allah; and He places defilement upon those who do not use reason.”
(10:101)
“Say: Look at what is in the heavens and the earth. But signs and warnings do not benefit a people who do not believe.”
(10:102)
“So are they waiting except for the like of the days of those who passed on before them? Say: Then wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait.”
(10:103)
“Then We save Our messengers and those who believe. Thus, it is binding upon Us that We save the believers.”
The punishment for those who insult Allah and His Messenger (ṣallāLlāhu 'alayhi wa sallam) is Allah's wrath and curse. There is no punishment bigger than death but the disbelievers do not know and not being able to know it until the last hour is part of the punishment. Allah says:
Sūrat al-Aḥzāb 33:57)
“Indeed, those who harm Allah and His Messenger, Allah has cursed them in this world and the Hereafter…”.
Why do you wish to fight against one whom Allah has already cursed?
The Prophet (ṣallāLlāhu 'alayhi wa sallam) forbids us from cursing Shaytan for one reason - Allah has already cursed him.
The curse of Allah is the greatest punishment for anyone on earth and in the hereafter. If they repent, they will find His mercy and forgiveness. If they remain persistent upon their misguidance, remember the word of Allah above "Say: Then wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait" (10: 102).
We have got to be very careful here.
I want to talk about three people as regards this issue.
The first of them is the cleric. I know he is agitated just like many of you are. It’s a sign of Iman (faith). However, while it is good to have Iman, we also have rules in Islam that must be followed. This is what set us apart from the rest of the world.
The way the cleric is quoting Ibn Taymiyyah’s book “As-Sarim al-Maslul,” is wrong. He is acting like this book is a license for his personal emotions, however, he is getting it wrong. When I wrote my article on Blasphemy, Ibn Taymiyyah’s definition from this very book was what I used, and some of you would still remember that.
There was nowhere in that text where he preached the kind of chaotic portrayal this cleric is trying to push. It is his own wrong understanding and his own interpretation.
Our religion is built on social order. He should report to the relevant authorities and follow through to ensure the rule of law is followed to the end. The last time I checked, Section 204 of the Criminal Code is clear about public insults to religion. This is what he should be pursuing.
Under any guise should the vigilantism that happened during Deborah’s time be allowed to happen again. Knowledge should rule and not agitation.
And to the ignoramus who calls himself a pastor. I know he is doing this on purpose. He cannot claim to be a man of God while choosing to blaspheme against the Prophet whom hundreds of millions of people hold dear.
In a country as tensed as Nigeria, this is not just an opinion, it is a sacrilegious act. He is intentionally throwing fire into a dry forest.
To the relevant authorities: this man needs to be arrested because he is performing these stunts specifically to cause trouble. He is mocking what is sacred to his neighbors and then hiding behind his religion when things get heated. This is nothing but malice designed to destroy the peace of the people.
And finally to the hypocrites, you are the ones who disgust me the most. You are neither here nor there. You know what they want? We should keep quiet when they blaspheme against our religion. One of them even told me shebi I am educated. Really?
You think being enlightened means having no backbone and no sense of identity. You stand for nothing, which is why you can watch your faith be dragged in the mud and feel nothing. You are forcing yourself to be part of a group that has no foundation just so you can look civil to people who do not care about you.
For your information, we know our identity and it is not a mistake. We will not stay silent while the heart of our life is attacked just to make you feel comfortable in your emptiness. You are just empty shells trying to hide your cowardice.
To our brothers in faith, our love for the Prophet (peace be upon him) is what defines us, and we will protect that honor with the same rigor and discipline that our religion demands. We are staying awake and we are staying firm in who we are.
Allah knows best.
Oladélé, this is the logical next step from the conversation we had yesterday. If you still remember, I argued about how we subconsciously shrink God to fit our finite human clock. Today, your question shows how we shrink God to fit human utility.
The question of "what is their purpose" assumes that the universe is centered around human beings. We subconsciously think that if humans cannot live on a planet, build houses on it, or use its resources, then it is a waste of space. However, the universe was not created to be a human terrarium. It is theocentric. That is, it is centered around the Creator, not us as humans.
To make it even clearer, think about it like this. A great king does not build a big palace because he intends to sleep in every single room. He builds it to reflect the scale of his power, his majesty, his wealth, and his sovereignty.
If we apply this analogy to an infinite Creator, what does that tells you? It means that if God only created one tiny rock called Earth suspended in an empty void, it would not reflect infinite majesty.
The terrifying vastness of space, the billions of galaxies, the brightness of stars, and the countless planets are there to force the human mind to look up and realize how incredibly small we are, and how immensely powerful He is.
As a Muslim, I am forced to reflect how the Almighty God in the Quran addresses our human arrogance directly. In Surah Ghafir 40:57, Allah states that the creation of the heavens and the earth is far greater than the creation of mankind, but most people do not know.
If we reflect on this, we would see that we are just a fraction of the story. The rest of the cosmos is fulfilling its own purpose and glorifying Him in ways we do not comprehend.
Having said that, even on a purely physical and mechanical level, those other planets in our solar system serve a direct purpose for our survival.
Take Jupiter and Saturn for specifics. Those huge gas giants act as cosmic shields. Their immense gravity pulls in comets and rogue asteroids that would have otherwise struck Earth and wiped out life long ago. They are standing guard in the dark so you can live down here.
God did not create anything as a meaningless accessory. Every single rock floating in the dark has a purpose. We are just too focused on ourselves to see the broader architecture.
Allah knows best.
Surah Luqman (31:29)
“Do you not see that Allah causes the night to enter the day and the day to enter the night, and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term…”
Surah Ya-Sin (36:40)
“It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day. Each is swimming along in its orbit.”
Surah Al-Anbiya (21:33)
“And He is the One Who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon; each floating in an orbit.”
I’m not a hàter. I defended Simi Sanya and her husband Dapson during their saga
But seeing this, this their marriage won’t last 2 years if she continues like this.
I genuinely thought she was a decent church girl hence the hype from Dapson.
Now, we all know what happens in Ama Reginald group of friends.
These girls are allegedly escorts, pimps, they do all sorts of things. And you’re their friends clubbing with them? You’re not different sis.
This group chat is not healthy for anyone that genuinely wants to build a decent matrimonial home.
I’m disappointed at Dapson too oh what do I expect? He literally beg to be in her life how can he control or caution her lifestyle in the marriage?
Now I support Dickson for calling you out for those n0nsense you were spilling out at the interview.
They actually knew her better.
Bro Dapson, you’re the price not her!
After staring at the Artemis II photos for so long, I went asking the sort of questions babies ask.
I found out yesterday humans haven’t dug lower than 2% into the earth. Thar’s the Kola Superdeep Borehole in Russia which is about 12.2 kilometres into the Earth’s crust. It was drilled by Soviet scientists between 1970 and 1994 on the Kola Peninsula, it remains the deepest artificial point on Earth by vertical depth.
The distance to the centre of the Earth is roughly 6,371 kilometres. They reached 12km and couldn’t continue.
Even at that depth, the temperature reached approximately 180°C which was far hotter than models had predicted. This is what halted drilling. The rock became so plastic under that heat and pressure that it behaved more like a fluid than a solid, making further progress impossible.
The borehole was welded shut in 2005 as the site was abandoned. No country has since attempted to surpass it.
Add this to the fact that we know more about Space than we do what’s beneath the Oceans!
This is actually the opposite when you think about it deeply. There are over 8 billion of us on a tiny rock orbiting one star among 200-400 billion stars in the Milky Way alone, with hundreds of billions of planets scattered across the galaxy, yet, despite all of that, we have found zero evidence of another intelligent civilization anywhere. Not one signal. So when you zoom out and see how vast and empty the universe appears to be, the fact that you are here, alive, conscious, capable of even asking this question, that doesn’t make you irrelevant. It makes you one of the rarest phenomena in the known universe. You’re not small. You’re statistically miraculous.
Another rare fact that makes every single human in existence special (when you zoom out) is this: there will always be more humans who will never exist than humans who ever will. The number of potential humans who will never get a chance at consciousness is almost infinite.
The fact that made me understand this was when I learned that some of the stars you see in the sky have died billions of years ago but the light is still traveling to reach us.
Basically everytime you look at the sky, you are seeing the past. Even the sun you are seeing is what it was 8 mins ago, as that's how long it takes for the suns light to reach us.
The scale of the universe is wild.
We orbit the Sun with 7 other planets. Every star you see in the sky is another sun and many of them with planets. The Milky Way (our galaxy) has 400 billion stars (suns) and there are over 2 trillion galaxies beyond that in the universe.
