Yesterday, our Poetry Club all attended Stockport's poetry festival hosted by author Michael Rosen. It was a fantastic experience for the children with 3 of them getting up on stage to perform their poems to the audience. Huge congratulations to Riddhi whose poem made the top 10!
Our Y5 & Y6 Choir members visited Meadway Court care home to sing for their residents this morning. They sang beautifully and put a smile on everybody's face.
KS1 were treated to a visit from a local author @sean16_writes who read his fabulous new story about two cats named Oscar & Ben. The children really enjoyed listening to the story, our thanks to Sean for coming in to see us.
Outstanding performance from our Y5 & Y6 Moss Hey athletes yesterday at the Sportshall Athletics competition in Cheadle Hulme. We came 2nd overall and so have progressed to the final in January!

The children were in great singing voice this morning at our Harvest assembly and just look at all those foodbank donations from our wonderful families. Thank you all.
Year 3 took part in a gymnastics competition with our Year 6 sports ambassadors as judges. After some fantastic displays, the 3 winning gymnasts were crowned along with 3 gymnasts rewarded for effort.
That's an excited Year 5 off on their 3 day residential to Castleton. First stop is a tour of Treak Cliff Cavern, famous for it's large deposits of Blue John stone! We hope you all have a great time.
