Husband: Have you prayed Asr?
Wife: No
Husband: Why?
Wife: I got back from work tired a bit so I took me a nap.
Husband: Ok... Go pray Asr and Maghrib before its time for Isha.
The next day... the husband leaves town on a business trip... But a few hours after his flight was scheduled to arrive he didn't call or even text her like he usually does to let her know that he had arrived safely..!!
The wife calls to check up on her husband but he doesn't pick up.. She calls again; the phone rings but no reply what so ever.
She was starting to get worried after many attempts of calling her beloved husband and no reply at all... She thinks to herself something must have went wrong he never does that. He always calls as soon as he lands.
A few hours pass by... and suddenly the phone rings and its the husband. Wife all worried says: have you arrived safely??
Husband: Yes, Alhamdulillah.
Wife: When?
Husband: About 4 hours ago.
Wife in an angered tone: 4 hours ago? And you don't call?
Husband: I was tired so decided to take a nap.
Wife: A few minutes wouldn't have hurt you if you were to call me and let me know you'v arrived... Plus haven't you heard the phone ringing over and over again as I was calling you..??
Husband: Yes, I heard it..
Wife: And you don't pick up..?? What are my calls not important enough for you..??
Husband: You're calls are important to me, but yesterday you didn't seem to mind not answering the calls of Athan.. Allah's call...
Wife with watery eyes and after a short silence says: Yes, you have a point.. I'm sorry..
Husband: Why are you apologizing to me? You should seek Allah's forgiveness and don't repeat the same mistake twice. All what I want out of this world is that Allah unites us both in a palace in Jannah where in it we can start our eternal life together. Ever since that day the wife never delayed any of her prayers.
“The one who truly loves you is the one who pushes you forward on your path to Allah and gets in your way and stops you from going backwards in life.” ❤️
Wallahi, marrying someone who truly loves you is a gift from Allah. Many people get married out of necessity, carrying deep wounds from past relationships, and you may never even know, because they bear that pain silently to their graves.
May we end up loving those who truly love us, and may Allah grant us righteous spouses.
God just didn’t create the earth in six days, He created the heavens and the earth in six days.
“Indeed, your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days…”
(Surah Al-A‘raf 7:54)
The earth is just one of 200-400 Billion planets in a galaxy of 2 trillion galaxies.
Everything we see of 2 trillion galaxies is just 4% of what is out there, (the observable universe), we still don’t know 96% of the whole universe of the first heaven.
And the first heaven compared to the second heaven is like a ring in a desert and so on.
The 7 heavens compared to the Kursiy of Allah is like a ring in a desert.
The 7 heavens and the kursiy of Allah compared to the throne of Allah is like a ring in a desert.
To us, this is magnificent, to Almighty Allah, the whole of the heavens plus the Kursiy and the throne of Allah is just another kun fa yakun.
He can decide to create or destroy it in a second.
He is Allah
The Almighty
The All-Powerful
He does as He wills,
None can question His decree,
And none can overturn His command,
When He intends a thing, He only says to it, “Be,” and it is,
His will is absolute, His power is complete,
He gives to whom He wills, and withholds from whom He wills,
He elevates whom He wills, and humbles whom He wills,
He is never compelled, never constrained,
Nothing in the heavens or the earth escapes His will,
He is Allah…
The Doer of whatever He wills,
Perfect in His wisdom, even when we do not understand.
The Creator of the heavens without pillars,
The Fashioner of the human soul with perfect precision.
The One who placed the stars as lamps in the sky,
And set the sun and moon in perfect balance,
The Giver of life and the Taker of it,
The Ever-Living, who never dies,
The Sustainer, whom all creation depends upon,
The Knower of the seen and the unseen,
The First, nothing came before Him,
The Last, nothing will remain after Him,
The Most High, above all that we can imagine,
He is Allah…
There is none worthy of worship except Him.
Subhanahu wa ta’ala 🤍
I'm ending Ramadan with yaqeen that my dư'as have been accepted. Bi idhnillah, it won't be long before I'm living in the reality of what I once begged Allah for. 🙏🏽

ACRONYM, ABBREVIATION, INITIALISM.
Read to learn 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽
VISA is actually not an acronym or abbreviation. It’s a Backronym.
A backronym is when people take a word or phrase that already exists and try to force a full sentence into its letters. The word "Visa" comes from the Latin phrase "charta visa" meaning "paper that has been seen." It’s a noun.
Here is a short lesson for those who care to read.
Most people use "Acronym" and "Abbreviation" like they’re the same thing, but in reality, they aren’t even on the same street.
Think of an Abbreviation as a word haircut. You’re just cutting the tail off to save space, but you still pronounce the full name.
Examples: Gov. Sanwo-Olu, Gen. Musa, or Prof. Soyinka.
An Acronym, however, is a new identity. The first letters of a group of words fuse together to create a brand new word you can actually pronounce.
Examples: JAMB, LASPOTECH, or NAPTIP. You don't spell them out letter-by-letter, you say them as one single word.
If you have to call out the letters one by one, like EFCC, FCT, or DSS, that’s technically an Initialism.
Shortened word = Abbreviation (Dr.)
Pronounced like a word = Acronym (UNILAG)
Pronounced as letters = Initialism (N-P-F)
Stop calling everything an abbreviation.
Class don end.

My Grandparents Were Married For 60 Years.
One Day I Asked My Grandfather:
“What’s The Secret To Loving The Same Woman For A Lifetime?”
He didn’t laugh.
He didn’t say “communication.”
He didn’t say “date nights.”
He looked at my grandmother, who was in the kitchen, and said:
“You don’t love the same woman.”
That confused me.
He said, “She changes every few years. And if you don’t update the way you love her, you lose her.”
He told me the girl he married at 22 wasn’t the same woman at 30.
Motherhood changed her.
Loss changed her.
Time changed her.
“At 40,” he said, “she needed respect more than romance.
At 50, she needed partnership more than passion.
At 60, she needed presence more than promises.”
And every time she changed, he had a choice:
Complain that she’s “not like she used to be.”
Or learn her again.
He said the biggest mistake men make is this:
They fall in love once.
Then stop paying attention.
“Loving a woman for a lifetime,” he told me,
“is deciding to stay curious about her.”
Not assuming you know her.
Not freezing her in the version you met.
He leaned back and said something I’ll never forget:
“If you stop studying her, someone else eventually will.”
Sixty years.
Not because it was easy.
Because he kept relearning her.
I wan cast one update.

Why am I just learning about the smallest town in the U.S.—Monowi, Nebraska, and how its population is only 1 person, Elsie Eiler. She runs the entire town by herself, and the town only has 3 buildings: her home, a restaurant and a library. I’m so intrigued and want to go 😭
