Why is there a sudden urge to ban oblique kicks? My only guess would be they are trying to make mma more palatable for the general public as the ufc has gotten more mainstream
I have to be honest, I have a hard time with oblique kicks being banned in a state where Power Slap has a license to operate, so I wanted to get CSAC Executive Director Andy Foster’s thoughts on this:
"It was a one-event license. They don’t have a permanent license. They’ve never done it here.
We still don’t know much about [Power Slap]. There’s not a lot of data on that particular activity area.
I’m comfortable one time. Let’s see what happens. I’ve never saw it in person."
@Benaskren I have friends who majored in things like social work or black history that ended up becoming lawyers or are currently studying for the bar exam. It gave them good insight as to how modern laws impact different groups. These programs are worth funding
