At @GreaterCanberra we advocate for reforms to planning laws to make our city more affordable, liveable and sustainable. We know there's a lot of good reforms here that we could do at minimal cost. Meanwhile our migration system is fiendishly complex and tradeoff heavy.

@HowardFMaclean The if immigration was so trivially easy to cut, then the opposition would be all over the issue. The very simple fact that they don't is a pretty strong indicator that there are some massive costs to curbing it.

In any case, we can fix housing whether we fix immigration or not.
