I’ll tell you a very harsh lesson I’ve had to learn through painful experience.
If a person don’t like you, there’s ABSOLUTELY nothing in this world you can do to change that.
Twerking for the approval of people who hate your very existence is a fool’s game. Best case scenario, you end up what they call a “useful idiot.”
I was at the barbershop the other day, and I became miserable at the filthy music videos that dominate the modern music industry.
I had to rescue my little son from the sodomic atmosphere while I endured the evil entertainment until it was my turn to have my haircut.
But it also occurred to me how much negative influence can be exerted upon young, innocent boys just by creating an environment of vulgar speech and lewd music.
Perhaps if we had more "Christian barbers" who would not allow their offices to be a recruiting centre for immoral sexuality and ungodly interactions, then many young men could find God and learn godliness by Christian barbers simply using their spaces as a platform to showcase the light and truth of Christian virtues of excellent, diligent labour.
Unfortunately, many Christians think they are only influential through mountains of finance, politics and other big spheres,
Meanwhile, God may do so much more with Faithful Christian mechanics, maids, barbers, and other seemingly insignificant "valleys" of influence.
Hopefully, we learn to let God's light shine through us whether on the mountain or in the valleys.
Notice that the people who were appalled and vocal by the Oriire kidnapping and beheading are suddenly no longer touched by the killings in PLATEAU, KADUNA and BENUE.
HAVE WE LOST OUR SENSE OF HUMANITY IN THIS COUNTRY? WHAT IS THIS MADNESS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD???
Aura, Skills, Vibes, and Aesthetics are all now common in ministry.
It's integrity, faithfulness, and selflessness that are the scarce gems.
If you add the latter, then you may become very useful to God.
If you chase only the former, you'll become useful to Satan.
Hello !
You might just need this.
Please Read.
When you work with a leader or someone that stretches you beyond your comfort zone, and truly wants you to be a better version of yourself,
You have no idea what God is doing for you.
My late mentor, Pastor Eskor Mfon was never really
a professional musician per se, but was a great worshipper and one that had an ear for good music.
He would come into our choir room after we had spent hours rehearsing. He’d sit, cross His legs, rest his jaws on his palm, close his eyes and listen to what we had done. After a while, he’d shake his head, smile and heave an interesting sigh “aaaaahhhh !”, and then say to us “okay okay well done o, but we can’t give God this kind of worship tomorrow, let’s start again…” And believe me, another 2-3 hours of work…. He’d tell us, “you know we can’t take people to a place we have not been to ourselves…”
He would share scriptures, explain what ministry was all about, then sit with us as we slugged it out.
Anyway, those days would later become the foundation of my music ministry today.
Hmmm, There were days I thought “this stress is just too much” just to lead worship ??? But what did I know ? Poor boy ! My eyes opened one day, and I caught it.
The inheritance I got from him was not money and material things, even though he took good care of us. But the values, principles, work ethic, mind shift, wisdom, spiritual intelligence and understanding, emphasis on prayer, word, purity, integrity, character, excellence etc.
Today I honour him everywhere I go, because in hindsight, He was God sent - To a young man who only had talent, but with very little or no sense of direction.
So, to anyone out there, connecting with this post and perhaps in a similar place, I say receive GRACE to maximize the moment. Learn and glean all you can now, never despise the process, instead appreciate and honour it. For not everyone is privileged to have another man or woman who leave their own thing to sit on your matter, just to make sure you excel in life. It is a blessing !
And in case it appears to be taking longer than it should, may be, just maybe. you are cut out for the BIG TIME. And in no distant future we would be reading your own inspiring story.
But Please note ! Only make sure the person or leader is one that meets the criteria above - I.e, one who truly desires to see a better version of you and wants you to fulfill your prophetic destiny. And Not just one who seeks to hijack your life, control it and put in under lock and key.
Blessings
🙂
When you observe some of the people you were privileged to help in life, fairing well, please don't be puffed up as though you're the God who deserves all the credit for their happiness.
Be glad you could contribute your quota, but don't attempt to make permanent slaves out of those who once needed your help.
I dislike legalism
But I love Deeper Life Bible Church
I dislike flamboyance
But I love Christ Embassy
I dislike monotony in worship
But I love the Anglican Church
I dislike liturgies and recitation
But I love the Catholic church
I dislike joining churches already very large
But I love the Redeemed Christian Church of God
I dislike focusing on deliverance
But I love Mountain of Fire and Miracles
I dislike focusing on material wealth
But I love all the churches who do
I dislike focusing on prophets and prophetesses
But I love all the churches who do
I dislike saying the obvious...lol
But I overlove the Household of David🤩
I dislike several things that people have said are seen in many churches; but I love the Body of Christ in whatever form they come.
So long as they believe in God, who is the Father
The Creator of all that exists
And Jesus Christ the Son, as Saviour and Lord
In whom alone in salvation from sin
And the Holy Spirit sent down to prepare a people for the world to come.
And take the Scriptures as the unalterable inerrant and wholesome word of God.
Then I count them as brothers and sisters
Of the same Father, planted in the same Christ, by the same Spirit.
I might not be able to fellowship with everyone
But in my heart I am in fellowship with everyone who has put their faith in Christ Jesus
I smile inwardly when I meet another Christian
Regardless of their church or denomination
I will not invite an established believer to my church
But I have already invited them to my brotherhood
In the same embrace of Christ.
Whether they shave their beards or curl their hair
Whether they wear cassocks or shredded jeans🙄
Whether they were trousers or garments or sweep-the-ground-for-us skirts
Whether they sing hymns like Fanny Crosby or rap like Lecrae
Whether they are full of rules or full of fun
Whether they are white, brown, yellow or black
Whether they meet in cathedrals, stadiums, backyards or parlours
None of that matters to me.
What matters to me is
'Are' you born again?
Do you now belong to Jesus?
If your answer is Yes.
Then you are my brother
And I am
Yours Sincerely.
Ebele.

A word for someone!
You have prayed and sowed… you are wondering what’s going on…
I’m led to tell you; THE LORD IS AT HAND! The Lord is near!
Meditate on Philippians 4’4-6
Blessings

People allow their carnality to lead them to false churches and socio-religious centres; then they drop out of that and begin to claim that Christianity and the Church are a scam.
After feeding on pulpit poisons that have no gospel, no cross and certainly no godliness, they become twice the sons of hell and further hardened against the true God.
I certainly blame Satan and his double agents of deception, but many were also led astray by their own lusts and deluded by the lies they loved and enjoyed.
Those who treat you with kindness and mercy don't necessarily have things going easy for them.
They have just decided to obey God's commands instead of succumbing to the forces of their feelings.
You too can do the same.
