@Valc0_ Thank you for saying this. I don't understand why we can't leave people alone. Their feelings should be as valid as everyone else's. We don't have to add nefarious reasons to them, we don't have to mock them, talk over them, or parade them around. Why is that hard? 🫠
Yall honestly taking this too far. The comment was harmless, the artist wrote a 7 comments thread on how they thought over how Angel would look, they clearly put effort and passion into this. It's okay if someone dislikes the show but enjoy the potential it has for them
@MarleneProart I think that and shame were my favorite beats.
With current text y question is why would a psychopathic narcissist lower his guard that low for someone who is known for killing people left and right
Could there be people who were morally repressed? Yes, but it heavily hinged on religious dogma (which Vox seems to ignore completely, willing to be blasphemous) and perhaps societal codes, which he obviously also don't care about since he's committing crimes.
To add onto this, "repression" on the 50s was not about personal morality, it was about survival. You could lose all your status, your human rights, your freedom and even your life. Alan Turing is a great example, but the framing was simply about "personal feelings".
See, this is what's so frustrating about some of the character lore in the show.
Vox is from the 50s and was born around 1900s. There's so much you can write in terms of repression if Viv wanted to go that route. But if empathy is what I'm to feel, I can't for Vox. 🧵
