@ledglin Why would you think its AI? The actors have social media accounts, there's a full trailer, there's BTS footage. Do you really not go beyond a 10s clip?
@xizhao1710@lyylyy_v The fact this account is posting videos of A HUMAN GOING FOR MEDICAL TREATMENT and doesn't understand what's wrong with that. Twitter has the WORST of BL fans I swear to god.
I'm sorry, but I just need to rant for a second or two here. 😮💨🙄🙄🙄
I've been scrolling through TT and honestly, it's pissing me off seeing people complain about why there are Mini Theaters and why they're accessible only through paid membership, especially when their argument is, “Other BLs give us full NC scenes for free.”
Okay. Let's unpack this.
First: A Winter Sun Wakes the Wind in Spring Hills Dream was made in China. If they were to publicly release every NC scene in full, there is still a significant risk involved—even if the series itself is being distributed on international platforms. The production has to work within the realities of where it was made.
Second: Productions need to make money. Shocking concept, I know. 😂 This series doesn't have the same level of sponsorship and commercial support that many Thai BL productions enjoy. Those Mini Theaters accessed thru memberships are one of the ways they can generate additional revenue.
Third: They filmed on location in the mountains of Yunnan. The mountains. 😂 Do people think getting an entire production crew, cast, equipment, accommodations, transportation, and everything else up there is cheap?
That kind of location shooting comes with serious logistical costs. If the production doesn't find other ways to generate income, do you honestly think Zelia will have more opportunities to create masterpieces like this in the future?
Fourth: Even when an episode doesn't show the full NC scene that some people are complaining about, what is shown is still beautifully filmed and high-quality. The absence of explicit content does not diminish the quality, emotional weight, or storytelling of the scene.
The intimacy is still there. The chemistry is still there. The emotions are still there.
Fifth—and this is probably the one I really need to say: if you're watching this series primarily for NC scenes, you're seriously doing yourself a disservice.
There is SO much more to this story.
The writing. The cinematography. The symbolism. The character development. The relationships. The themes of fate, grief, sacrifice, love, family, and the ripple effects of our choices.
There are literally tons of things to appreciate.
So if your main priority is seeing sexy scenes rather than experiencing the story...
Well, 🌽hub is right there. It's free. Knock yourself out🙄
But please don't reduce an incredibly thoughtful, beautifully made series to whether or not it gives you enough NC content for free.
Some of us are here for the story, the art, the characters, and the damn emotional devastation. And honestly?
We've been fed VERY well.

@yaoi_mazter I want to upvote this 10,000 times. Especially point 4. Western BL fans have become OBSESSED with sex scenes, it's embarrassing. I am more than happy to pay for both Gaga and the YT membership.
@szszk622 Oh 100% its the right move to stand with not posting any ssg or swarm content.
Today there are vids swirling by the big accounts, again, with them completely missing the point that most of those bodies are ssg trying to get the perfect shot. Westerners have no clue.
@JungShadow1@boyslovehub Your first mistake is thinking this account will provide any sources.
The web novel is authored by
이로밀. And the second actor has not been confirmed by OAK.
@CdramaLover016 My stuff is stolen all the time. I call people out and they usually apologize and take down my work or add credit. I dont even have a large following. Keep up the good fight.
@Bora4ver@qsgyk@hubboyslove How is this page helping? By amassing thousands of likes? What are you doing to help? You'll all forget about this in a few hours while the Chinese accounts make money off reposts and shares.
@Cynthia81775015@hubboyslove They gain viral videos and thousands of clicks. Which is exactly what's happening when a page like this shares it. They want views and likes.
@Bora4ver@qsgyk@hubboyslove You have it backwards. Sharing it here does not reach the people doing it in China. All they care about is their videos being shared, and as long as that keeps happening they will continue the behavior.
@qsgyk@hubboyslove It is never OK to share these types of videos. I'm not sure how you're missing the point. They WANT these videos to be shared. Which encourages them to keep doing it.
@qsgyk@hubboyslove Posting this only gives these people undeserved attention. Calling out Chinese "fans" who post these videos to Weibo is not having the effect you think it is. WE know this behavior is unacceptable. But by sharing it, the sasangs will continue as long as their clips go viral.
