You're about to get the realest version of me that you've ever seen.

Right now, for the first time in years, I'm living paycheck to paycheck.

I walked away from a higher-paying job as a casino dealer to take a lower-paying, less stress, corporate position because I had built a substantial second income through X.

How substantial?

Over $120,000 in the 18 months I was monetized.

Yes, that's how much X was paying me.

Then I got demonetized.

Why?

Because I was spamming the platform.

I was constantly giving shout-outs to smaller accounts, helping people gain thousands of followers, and encouraging people to comment MAGA to boost engagement.

I helped hundreds of accounts grow.

I'm not going to pretend I'm innocent.

I did it. I shouldn't have. I accept responsibility.

I am not one to accept defeat so I started building something new.

I created a completely nonpolitical account called @GrowingUpRetro, monetized it, and rediscovered how much I genuinely love creating content.

But right now I'm m watching ordinary families struggle and somehow, I'm supposed to pretend everything is wonderful?

Because Trump is president?

Are you kidding me?

I hear people talk about their finances every single day.

Real families with real problems.

But spend five minutes on political X and you'd think every American was swimming in money, groceries were practically free, and the economy was powered by unicorn glitter farts and magical rainbow dust.

Apparently, everything is perfect.

Apparently, Trump can do no wrong.

Apparently, if you disagree, you're a traitor to the movement.

Give me a f'n break.

You know what concerns me most?

The growing number of conservatives who believe criticizing Trump is somehow an act of betrayal.

Since when did putting America First mean putting a politician above the American people?

And since when did the financial struggles of hardworking families become something we're supposed to keep quiet about until after an election?

People don't walk into voting booths thinking about what they read on X.

They're thinking about their groceries and their children's future.

They're thinking about whether the money they worked all week to earn is going to last until Friday.

And if you think those concerns won't influence the midterms, you're fooling yourself.

I have spent years defending Trump.

I've taken the attacks.

I've lost friends.

I'm not suddenly becoming a Democrat because I'm unhappy with parts of his second term.

I'm not encouraging anyone to stay home.

I'm doing exactly what I've always done.

Speaking my mind.

Whether it's popular or not.

Whether the people who once cheered me on suddenly decide they don't like what I have to say.

I spent years watching liberals try to silence us for expressing opinions they didn't like.

Now I'm watching some conservatives do the exact same thing to their own people.

That's not how freedom works.

I am an American before I am a Republican.

My loyalty is to my country.

My responsibility is to my family.

My principles don't change depending on who occupies the Oval Office.

And my voice doesn't belong to Donald Trump, the Republican Party, or anyone on this platform.

I want Republicans to win.

I want Trump to succeed.

I want this country to prosper.

But more than anything, I want hardworking American families to stop feeling like they're falling behind no matter how hard they work.

And if saying that makes some of you angry, so be it.

You don't have to agree with me.

You don't even have to like me.

But don't ever confuse my frustration with disloyalty to my country.

I didn't vote for Donald Trump because I wanted someone to worship.

I voted for him because I wanted a better future for my family and my country.

And I will never apologize for holding him to that expectation.

Not today.

Not tomorrow.

And damn sure not because there's an election coming.

An 8-month-old baby was scalded in a bathtub.

Her mother watched her skin turn red, peel, and blister.

Then she waited days and never took her to a doctor.

Jannah Abughazaleh died on Aug. 25, 2024, in Sacramento County, California.

Her mother, Kristina Siedlecki, has now been convicted:
* Second-degree murder
* Faces 15 years to life (not enough IMO)
* Sentencing set for Oct. 23

Prosecutors say Jannah's father, Hussein Abughazaleh, put her in dangerously hot bathwater.

She had 2nd and 3rd degree burns over about 30% of her tiny body, from her mid-back down the backs of her legs to her heels.

She would have screamed, cried, and been in intolerable pain.

Siedlecki came home and found her still in the tub.

Her phone searches showed she knew how dangerous untreated burns were.

She still didn't take her baby to a hospital.

A detective said they "didn't want to get arrested and they didn't want CPS to get involved." Again.

2 days later, the father told a family friend, "I burned her… in the bathtub."

The friend told him to call 911. But he didn't. And neither did the friend. Nobody did.

On the morning Jannah died, her breathing changed and she went limp.

Her mother scrolled social media.

About 45 minutes later, the father messaged a friend.

When the friend arrived, Siedlecki handed him the baby. "Within seconds she died in my hands," he said.

Now here's the part that should enrage everyone:

CPS already knew.

When Jannah was born, the father already had substantiated claims of physical abuse and SA against him.

The couple had another child who had already been taken out of their care.

CPS's own assessment rated the home "HIGH RISK" for abuse and neglect.

CPS overrode its own system, closed the case, and sent them a parenting specialist and a pamphlet: "Never Shake a Baby."

His own mother called CPS the day Jannah was born.

The father never faced trial.

He had a medical emergency in jail and died in February 2025.

Jannah never had a chance.

Every adult and every agency that was supposed to protect her failed her.

A 92-year-old North Carolina man got so bored 2 months into retirement that he applied to work at Chick-fil-A...

...his smile, kindness, and passion for Jesus became so contagious that when he got sick and missed 3 days of work, an ENTIRE TOWN began asking where he was.

His name is Gilbert Martin.

Everybody calls him "Mr. Gil."

Mr. Gil is 92 years old, and works at the Chick-fil-A on Oleander Drive in Wilmington, NC.

He spent decades working in the natural gas industry and when he retired, he greeted people at Sam's Club for 12 MORE years, until they eliminated his position.

Most people would call that a sign to finally rest, but not Mr. Gil!

Two months into retirement, he got bored... so he walked into Chick-fil-A and put in an application.

He was 86 years old at the time.

He's been there ever since.

Not one or two shifts a week either. Monday through Friday.

He says the full schedule gives him more chances to be there for people who need him.

His official job is dining host.
Clean tables.
Clean floors.

But Mr Gil doesn't see it that way... as he describes it, his real job is:

"I get a lot of people that are coming in, just been to the doctor, and got bad news... I'm able to be an encourager; the Lord gave me that."

A 92-year-old man who could be resting at home... chooses to stand in a dining room five days a week... so strangers on the worst day of their lives don't have to be alone.

And Wilmington noticed.

When Mr. Gil caught a cold and missed a couple of days, the owner said he was FLOODED with HUNDREDS of customers who were panicked about him.

Mr. Gil has zero plans to retire.

He says if you ever see him working, come say hi.

"I don't know what 92 is supposed to feel like, but I feel great. Serving others has always brought me joy because I believe that a smile and a kind word can make someone's day a little brighter.”
