While we still at it, let’s give credit where it’s due, it’s rare to get foreign nationals working at this shop. Shoprite hires mostly South Africans. 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦#PutSouthAfricaFirst
🚨 WELCOME TO THE GREATEST CIRCUS ON EARTH: "YOUR GOVERNMENT HATES YOU" EDITION! 🚨
Let’s be honest: we are completely being treated like Popeyes in our own country! 🤡🎪
Explain this math to me, because it makes absolutely ZERO logical sense: □ 42,151 foreign business permits issued by the Department of Small Business Development.
□ 33 Business Visas approved by Home Affairs.
Thirty. Three.
How do you get a permit to trade without the legal right to actually be in business here?!
Before we get take out by false narratives:
"No, those are South Africans applying on behalf of foreigners"—SIT DOWN. THAT IS INCORRECT. ❌ These are applications from apparent "legal" foreign nationals wanting to trade. Out of over 100,000 applications, only 33 official business visas were granted.
So how does this happen?
● 📖 Study visa = to STUDY.
● 🧳 Visitor visa = to VISIT.
● 💼 Business visa = to conduct BUSINESS
Even the DSBD's own guidelines state: "To operate a business legally, foreign nationals must hold valid and appropriate documentation that explicitly permits them to work or run a business."
So what is the process kante bagolo?!
The truth is simple: The right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing. DSBD is handing out trading permits like flyers at a traffic light, while Home Affairs is frozen in complete paralysis. They don’t talk, they don’t cross-check, and they don’t care.
While South African entrepreneurs are choked by red tape, tax compliance, and bylaws, a massive shadow economy is being allowed to operate right under our noses because of pure government incompetence.
Stella and the rest of the leadership need to stop dodging and give us answers!
Are we a serious country, or are we just the joke of the continent? FIX THE SYSTEM! 🇿🇦 @DSBD_SA
I want my South African Brothers and Sisters to know that this job can make them 3k a week 👏🏾👏🏾.

Good news for South Africans. 🇿🇦
You do not need to own a motorcycle to qualify for a scooter delivery job.
RTT has partnered with Honda Motorcycles to offer a 3-year rent-to-own programme at a cost of just R350 per week.
The next step is for South Africans to acquire their motorcycle licences so they can take advantage of these employment opportunities. 🇿🇦🏍️✊🏽
‼️It feels like a dream, but it’s happening.
The manager of this store was a foreign national who allegedly hired undocumented migrants from Zimbabwe 🇿🇼. Following the manager’s resignation and the enforcement of migration laws, the company is now recruiting new employees.
“Hi Tee, my brother has been applying to drive for Mr D since 2023 without any luck. Yesterday he signed his contract, and today is his first day at work. We’re so grateful. ❤️🙏”
