From my understanding, they're taught to kneel on the back and shoulders. So kneeling on his neck for almost 10 minutes just isn't excusable.

@ArgenTo46 @80strolls @officer_Lew I understand your viewpoint and that he wasn't a perfect man. Imo, in the video it looked like he was kneeling on him pretty heavily. Floyd was a large man and he wasn't sober, so it may not have been the cause of death. But Chauvin's actions were not right in any way.
