If someone posts an image and claims it's a Venezuelan poodle moth, it is either fake, or a photo of an actual species like the domestic silk (bombyx mori) or the white satin (leucoma salicis) unless it is this photo (which, again, has never been scientifically verified as real).

Not only is it not a real thing, those are Yellow-tails (sphrageidus similis).

The 'venezuelan poodle moth' refers to an unknown moth photographed once in 2009 that has never been scientifically recognized or proven to exist.

@PhoebeBane This is actually connected to something I wondered about having a Skeleton Exemplar. If you have Skin as Hard as Horn, I love the idea of it being *someone's* skin, just not necessarily yours, draped over your bones in a horrible display, flopping around like a cloak.
