I was also today years old when I learned this. It's a great reminder that there are no words wasted in the literal word of God.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits. ~ Proverbs 18:21
This verse emphasizes the profound impact of speech. The “fruit” refers to the outcomes, the positive or negative, that returns to the speaker of the words based on how they use their words. This aligns with broader biblical themes about responsible speech and moral accountability.
It underscores the ethical weight of language, and the responsibility individuals bear for the effects of their words and how they use them.
Personally, I don't think this talking about an appropriately placed cuss word, but I could be wrong. And I'll admit it, if I am. However, words can be weapons despite the saying "Sticks and stone may break my bones but words will never hurt me." Its a fun adage to use in the moment, but the words the speaker says can be wielded for or against not only themselves, but the person they are talking to. The impact can hurt or heal, discourage or encourage, destory or build up, bless or harm.
I am better at writing than I am speaking but even I need to watch what I allow myself to say in environments and in certain contexts where it's easier to just go with the flow and slip into saying words otherwise better off not speaking, because God's words, his promises, his commands, his instructions, never return void.
@Music_Medicated Awesome! I'll have to check this out! But I do know of HotSeat Todd. Lol. Been following him for years on instagram. I used to watch the previous iteration of his show along side Chad's show. I did indeed find him through Chad Prather. 😁
Today officially marks 2 years since Hurricane Helene hit us in Western North Carolina.
I wasn't a political person before Hurricane Helene, I was barely on X at all.
But what I saw during the months after Hurricane Helene, literally changed my entire life so dramatically, it's impossible for me to ever go back.
I watched as promises were made, but weren't kept.
I watched as the media ignored us, even though we were screaming for help.
I watched neighbors living out of tents for months.
I helped deliver RVs to families with small kids living out of sheds in their backyard in 21 degree weather.
I heard horror story after horror story of people abandoned by a government they trusted to help them.
I got calls from frantic families being kicked out of hotels by FEMA into the cold.
I had to tell my kids, "I'm sorry, but I don't know when things are going to look normal again..."
I heard from so many people, "I think they forgot about us..."
That's why I dedicated so much of my life here on X to getting the word out, sharing the stories of hurt, of hope, love, and of tragedy.
In the end, we all just become the stories other people know us by, and the only thing I knew for certain, was that as long as I had had a voice...
I was going to make sure OUR STORY in Western North Carolina didn't die.
So thank you to everyone who cared enough to share the stories for MONTHS.
You never gave up on us, and it means the world to everyone here.
Never forget 💔
🚨 EXTENDED cut of my conversation with Pastor @PhilipAMitchell on Islam... This might be the most uncomfortable conversation for pastors to have right now.
We have 1,400 years of history as a guide. It would be very naive to think it will be different this time.
I am officially in the creator program on Pickax!! 🙌🥳🎉🪩
Following me on Pickax is an excellent way to support me without spending a dime! https://t.co/PI06DQ5KAw
