There are no words heavy enough to carry the grief of this moment.❤️
A teacher is not just a worker. A teacher is a nation builder, a guardian of dreams, a person who stands before children every day and pours knowledge, courage, and hope into them.
A classroom should be sacred. It should be safe. It should be the one place a child enters without fear. But when the classroom becomes a place of terror, then we must all wake up.
We must be angry. We must be broken. We must refuse to become numb.
Our country is bleeding, but we must not stop demanding better. We must not become used to this type of news. It is not normal.💔
“Michael Jackson” was truly phenomenal, the movie was truly experiential, and leaves me wondering if one could feel the way we felt through the screens and acted through someone else, he (Michael Jackson) was really a force! #michaelmovie
In addition, mark all faces/accounts of vile commenttators, rape apologists and those excuse givers! Report them and alert people that are close to them!!!!!!!!

Nigerians Demand Justice For Ochanya
Nigerians have revived the hashtag #JusticeForOchanya on the anniversary of the death of Ochanya Elizabeth Ogbanje, a 13-year-old who died after years of sexual abuse by her uncle and his son.
Following public pressure, the Benue State High Court has officially reopened the case against her uncle, Andrew Ogbuja, citing renewed evidence, while his son Victor Ogbuja remains at large.

It’s time for more voices to resound the cause! #justiceforochanya
Social media will always be a tool of power solely in our hands to use to get justice the best way we can. Silence is not an option to take!
“Escapism” doesn’t solve a thing in the long run. While mental health is real, your reality won’t suddenly change because your understanding of mental health includes escaping certain phases that is all part of LIFE.
Life happens differently and it is never a straight path.
Please and please guys. I empathize with you if you are on a job where your mental health is at stake, but please don't quit your job irrationally on the grounds of mental health, except you have a solid back up. Hunger deals with mental health harder than a tough job. Too many people are sending SOS DMs asking for help to feed because they left their jobs due to mental health and now they're dealing with worse case of mental breakdown. This is a real pandemic situation. It's tough for everyone and no one can afford to give you money everyday.
Please toughen your mental health. Learn the principles of hard work very early. Learn coping mechanisms. Build hard and soft skills so you can find another job or start a business if one doesn't work. Think of your background. Think of your responsibilities. Pray very very hard. Do all you can but please this fragility around mental health and quitting your job because some "influencer" on Twitter with a rich dad wrote that he left his job to guard his sanity, is stupid o. Don't do it. May village people not catch us.

Okay I have to tweet this ‘cos I need to vent somewhere ‘cos the money I’m about to spend on hairdo this weekend is making me almost go nuts. First, I want to buy extensions that are re-usable because this economy ehn. Then the cost of making the hair too 😫.
If someone is not interested in their work, there's little a supervisor can do to help them to become excellent.
Talent only goes so far.
Some things are learnt by curiosity, personal interest and investigation.
A prospective Associate must be sharp and properly educated.
For instance, it may be difficult to explain investment management to someone who lacks basic proficiency in math. Or, to train a consultant who cannot produce an error-free report.
In recruiting Associates, pay attention to fundamentals, unless you have a structure and budget to teach the basics.
If you do, I would suggest recruiting interns and training from scratch, rather than teaching basics at the price point of an Associate.

This!
When people think there are a lot of women-focused initiatives or solutions, and they say there’s so much over-concentration on the female gender, maybe it’s because you really need to go out and touch the grass. The gap is still a wide one.
I need to let a lot of you people know that Gender Inequality is a THING! - and these ‘special’ girls and women programs that you think is favoritism is actually to bridge a VERY WIDE GAP!
Privilege is what makes you blind to it!
This is an exceptional speech.
Notice how she engages the audience.
She pauses for effect, smiles, and uses the right inflection.
When the audience claps, she waits, reveling in the applause.
This is a good example of how to deliver an engaging speech.
My favorite quote from her is:
"Remember, if all you see is all you see, then you don’t see all there is to be seen."
Do watch till the end!
Great job from @CrystalAsige@OneYoungWorld
When you get something you’ve worked hard for or been looking forward to, make sure you celebrate it. And celebrate well because your brain will try to trick you into believing it isn’t a big deal. But it is. You set a goal & achieved it. It is wonderful. Celebrate well.
Do you know someone like this? They visit your house and think it’s theirs! 😭 Like why are you opening my wardrobe so casually??? 😭
Shoutout to @Danielochuko_ for always indulging me even though this is so not his style! 🤣🤣🤎
I CRIED SO MUCH THIS MORNING
It was raining and I was driving and then the rubber thing on one of my wipers just fell off and I didn’t want to keep using it bc it was scratching against the windshield.
So, I parked somewhere and was in full panic
If you have a skincare routine that’s working for you, stick to it.
There’ll always be a new, shiny product/brand on the market.
Influencers will always try to convince you to buy something new.
You can’t achieve your skin goals if you keep jumping from one product to another.
Maybe I’m just the one that doesn’t understand it. I’m trying to order outfits from Nigerian brands (for outfits that are made in Nigeria and to be delivered in Lagos) yet I click on the website and things are priced only in USD.
