@hozziee@CTCaveman@SachinUchil1@awilkinson MS Teams is far more superior than other platforms. I wish @Microsoft would put it in the hands of respected Gen Z /savvy Tik Tok creators to promote it well. Feels the enterprise/small business angle is a drying well. Using it broadly could pivot its popularity
@NewYorker If I learned about Drew Scott's case in elementary school, again in depth in middle and high school then more intensely in college as part of political science content, why would the thoroughness of the case impact law school students in a way where it shouldn't be taught? π€
@PMC713@WSJ Financial literacy regardless of what school/college someone went to will yield less bankruptcies. Americans relationship with money is highly flawed. Even rich people and corporations file for bankruptcy protections. Many went to pricey schools. This article is racebaiting πΆ
@DMagazine What she did was very brave and I applaud her for feeling compelled enough to use her moment to share her concerns. Even if she did this for another unrelated topic, my comments serves to recognize her for her bravery and the confidence to seize the moment.
@MikeDancy So... If you're 57, you're a Boomer; if you're 75, you're a Boomer. With such a large generation, it's not uncommon to work from home. A farmer works from home, too! I own two businesses am not a Boomer and also work from home. So do my 5 employees. π
@chosenlyric @BearUrine@Richard96719987@AndreaCinPR@MorningConsult@business Not necessarily. Over 60% of American goods are made offshore and humans are still filling these roles. Moving a tactical WFH role offshore is to boost the company's profits not automation.
@BearUrine You're changing the narrative
Your initial comment referred to "offshore remote" hence outside the country taxes are applied. Why would a company move a WFH position outside the country and pay more taxes on it? Even if the labor is cheaper, the taxes are the same or more.
@MuttantNinja @AndrewDLuecke Literally isn't middle class thinking. Example: in many countries, time off is a government mandate...not private entity perk. So someone who makes $10k year and someone who makes $500k year gets the same amount of personal time off (5-6 weeks), and same well-being perks. β
@69olimrb@Titletown420@kreighbaum I agree... virtual meeting impotence has little to do with "why" some roles should be in the office. Experienced enough people who couldn't project their laptop to monitor to know even in person, being in a group to watch the stupidity & poor planning isn't worth the drive
