Unreal Engine 5で、キャラクターの動きに追従する血液デカールシステムを開発。

Skeletal Mesh上を血が自然に流れ、アニメーションしても位置関係を維持。さらにマルチプレイにも対応。こういう「地味だけどゲームの質感を一気に上げる技術」、かなり好き。

Saturday, I'm stimulating your brain with Unreal Engine. I hope game dev karma will reward me. A simple idea is to pass the grid to a BumpOffset node, which will mystically distort (improve) the texture. I called it "illusion optical grid effect". #gamedev #UnrealEngine #UE5
