For all the months (and even years) that people have assumed me calling Trump a "criminal" is a partisan attack, I can tell you honestly I always saw it as a sober professional assessment based on my years of experience in criminal law
And today, 500+ federal prosecutors agreed
Add Treasury to the list of Trump Administration agencies ignoring the law to defy Congressional oversight.
And make no mistake: Republican silence makes them complicit in this lawlessness.
It also means that future presidents can engage in corrupt conduct without constraint.
Watching Cohen go off to prison for crimes that Individual #1 directed him to commit so that Individual #1 could become POTUS ā while Individual #1 lounges in the White House disobeying his oath and corrupting everything ā just feels so wrong. So not what America is all about.
Mueller decided it wasnāt fair to say if Trump would've been indicted for obstruction if not for DOJ policy prohibiting it.
Speaking as a former prosecutor, the case is clear: there's more than enough evidence for charges.
Hundreds of prosecutors agree.

In only 12 minutes Lindsey Graham:
⢠Lied 19 times
⢠Said trump supported Mueller 13 times
⢠Attacked Hillary 5 times
⢠Lied about Hillary 9 times
⢠Told 4 jokes nobody laughed at
⢠Said āFuckingā once
⢠Giggled at saying āfuckingā once
After watching Attorney General Barrās tortuous explanations for a long list of misrepresentations, itās clear:
Barr views himself as Trumpās lawyer, not Americaās lawyer
He was hired with an agenda to protect Trump
And Barr, like his boss, is grossly unfit for the office
Attorney General Barr should resign.
He misled the American people with his inaccurate summary of Muellerās report.
Then he misled the Congress when he denied knowledge of Muellerās concerns.
How can he be trusted to impartially administer justice?
Short answer: He canāt.
I've read the Mueller report, and one thing is very clear: Donald Trump is the most corrupt president in our lifetime, and Congress should begin impeachment proceedings. No one is above the law. Not even the President.
Another despicable and violent act of anti-Semitism ā this time at a synagogue in Poway, California at the end of Passover.
We must act to end the scourge of gun violence and come together against the disturbing rise of violent hatred across the U.S.
By removing the signature of the United States from the Arms Trade Treaty, Trump joins the ranks of Russia, North Korea & Syria and again retreats from US leadership on an issue of national security and human rights - this time to placate the greed and self-interest of the @NRA.
This Shabbat brings another deadly attack on Jews, at worship, on American soil. Whenever anyone comes to harm because of their faith, we are all diminished. We cannot rest until hate has no home.
I was inspired to run for office by leaders like Richard Lugar whose work on nuclear nonproliferation made the world a safer place.
It was an honor to work with him for years, on press freedom and other issues. One of the last true statesmen, his decency will be sorely missed.
Today, Trump said he is the most transparent president in the history of our nation.
If by transparent, he means opposing every request for documents and testimony by Congress,
And obstructing Muellerās investigation,
Then I donāt think that word means what he thinks it means.
The underemployment rate for college grads is 34% overall and 44% for recent college graduates. We should stop pretending that college degrees create jobs. They often donāt. https://t.co/OMDCb49zXa
If weāre only talking about him, then folks at home feel like nobodyās talking about them. Itās hard to look away from a horror show. Thatās just how it is. Itās mesmerizing. But weāve got to figure out a way to change the channel.
Did the President obstruct justice?
Yes.
Was it worse than Watergate?
Yes.
This break in was by a hostile foreign adversary. This president welcomed their help. This president lied about it and sided with that power over his own agencies.
Donāt believe it? Read the report.
