Delighted to meet and exchange views with a high level delegation from the Norwegian Renewable Energy Industry Association, headed by CEO Mr. Bård Vegar Solhjell. @bardvegar@NorwayAmbIndia
The Association is Norway's most prominent renewable energy industry body representing over 400 companies across Norway's hydropower, wind, solar and grid sectors.
Highlighted India’s remarkable clean energy trajectory and its ambitious goals on EV mobility, battery & pump storage and green hydrogen.

Yes, we had a disappointing weekend in cricket.
But at the same time, I often find myself rubbing my eyes in disbelief at India’s growing competitiveness in sports where I never imagined we’d even be globally competitive.
Volleyball. Fencing. Gymnastics. Rowing. Athletics. The list keeps growing.
Yes, we’re far from the top step of the podium yet.
However, something’s clearly changing at the ground level.
Years of effort by governments, both state and central, (outstanding example being Odisha) along with private sector organisations like OGQ and many others, may finally be starting to pay off..
But it is the individual sportspersons, this new generation of champions with grit, resilience and self-belief, who are my #MondayMotivation.
An unabashed plug today for one of our @clubmahindra resorts.
Because one of the resorts, Club Mahindra Ashtamudi, showcases an incredibly beautiful part of our country.
Set where Ashtamudi Lake meets the quiet backwaters of Kerala, Munroe Island is a peaceful green escape in Kollam.
The open backwaters merge into
narrow canals, with the colour of the water changing through the day.
And as you move deeper, thick mangroves bend over the canals to form a natural green canopy
A journey there is a journey inside yourself…

Car racing is on the brink of a revolution…
Gen 4
Formula E
It’s coming and it’s unstoppable.
And one of those ‘beasts’ will be racing around in Mahindra livery….

Very positive thoughts.
But why only business leaders?
We often describe our vast population as India’s demographic dividend. It can also become our compassion dividend.
If millions of us simply decide to ‘pay it forward’ by regularly helping someone less fortunate with even modest sums or a meal, the multiplier effect would be extraordinary.
Today, India has over 8 crore income-tax filers. Even if only a fraction of them participated, the collective impact would be immense.
Imagine if just one crore Indians contributed ₹100 a week. That’s over ₹5,000 crore a year directed towards restoring dignity, one life at a time.
More than millions of large philanthropists we’ll probably benefit as much with millions of people willing to perform one small act of generosity.
A proud milestone built on trust and performance!
Heartiest congratulations to M/s. MP Roadlines on the addition of 5 new BLAZO X 48 trucks, delivered through our valued dealer M/s. Randhawa Motors, Mumbai.

Delighted to launch Smarter Than the Storm at the London School of Economics and Political Science during a public event hosted by the Global School of Sustainability and LSE Events. I was joined by my co author Siddharth Sinha, while the discussion was chaired by Professor Lord Nicholas Stern, IG Patel Chair of Economics and Government and Chair of LSE’s Global School of Sustainability. We were also joined by Emma Howard Boyd, Chair of the UK’s National Heat Risk Commission, and Dr Ruth Kattumuri, Senior Director for Economic Development, Trade and Investment at the Commonwealth Secretariat.
Our discussion centred on one of the defining opportunities of our time: harnessing Artificial Intelligence as a force multiplier for climate action and sustainable development. Yet AI must be for all, not just for a privileged few. As we scale AI, we must ensure it is trusted, inclusive and green. And in the process of solving AI’s own climate challenge, we have an opportunity to create intelligent hacks that can help solve some of the world’s most pressing climate challenges. That is the central message of Smarter Than the Storm.
My sincere thanks to everyone who joined us despite London’s heatwave warning, a timely reminder that climate change is no longer a distant threat but a lived reality. The urgency to harness technology and innovation for a more resilient, sustainable and inclusive future has never been greater.
Pleasure meeting and interacting with Professor Larry Kramer, President of the London School of Economics and Political Science. We had an engaging discussion on strengthening LSE-India engagement, the evolving geopolitical landscape, and the immense opportunities, as well as the emerging challenges, presented by AI, particularly in the context of climate change and sustainable development.
I was also delighted to learn more about LSE’s newly established Global School of Sustainability, an important initiative that will help shape the next generation of leaders and solutions for the world’s most pressing sustainability challenges. LSE has a critical role to play in fostering global collaboration, advancing evidence based policymaking, and driving innovation for a more resilient and sustainable future. @LSEnews
Winning against the Chinese. In China.
At the Asian Relay Championships.
Srabani, Sudeshna, Sneha & Tamanna in the 4x100 relay.
Power. Speed. Grace. Commitment.
But above all, teamwork.
This clip has it all.
I’m watching it on loop.
More of this please. 🇮🇳
Complimented the team at @mahindrarise for this powerful Father’s Day experiment. Those featured in the film are real Mahindra associates with their fathers and children.
I couldn’t help being moved. It brought back a flood of memories of my own father. A man who never put himself at the centre of his life. Everything he did was in support of those he loved and those he called friends.
No fireworks. No grand gestures. Just the quiet constancy of being there, with seemingly limitless reserves of love and support.
To me, that was the essence of fatherhood. He was always a powerful source of motivation.
And the film also left me with a lingering regret: all the opportunities I had, and lost, to know and understand him better.
If there’s one lesson in it for me, it’s this: don’t wait. Ask the questions & have the conversations.
Get to know your parents while you still can.

On the face of it, just a number.
But behind that number lie millions of farmers’ dreams, and the dedication of generations of Mahindra associates who worked tirelessly to help make those dreams possible.
So this milestone is more than a statistic. It’s an emotion.
My deepest gratitude to everyone who has been part of this remarkable journey. 🙏🏽
And the journey is far from over…
My usual #SundayWanderer post is about incredible landscapes and journeys across the country.
This one is a departure.
Well, it is about a journey, but about a commuter’s journey.
Although Mumbai, has always had public transport that was arguably the best in India, it’s gratifying to see it beginning to get the world-beating public transport it deserves. (Bravo @AshwiniBhide )
So wander over to Mumbai.
A city that never stops moving….
