I can’t wait for forward-thinking conversations with my fellow educators as we spark ideas, ask questions, and look to the future of education. And, I’m looking forward to my session. Join me on April 2nd at 10:15 as we discuss brain science and fun. https://t.co/T6b0ZgKwQr
@edutopia Referring to the room and all of its people as “our classroom,” not “my classroom.” I think this mindset shift helped students understand their role in our room is more important than mine.
I’m presenting at #ASCD23! Join me in Denver where we’ll collaborate about improving academic outcomes for students, building resiliency, and creating equitable and inclusive learning environments. Get all the details here: https://t.co/tqy5UqO9Uy
Someone hijacked my advisory’s discussion prompt this morning, and it was NOT a student. All kidding aside, I am so happy our students love their math teacher! #hdsmpride
6th graders worked hard to identify story elements in Greek mythology. Then, they had a bit of Twitter fun! My favorite moment of the day was when a few students used their free time to tell each other about the myths they read! #hdmspride
What a wonderful day for snow tubing! Thanks to Pats Peak for hosting our 6th graders and to the Duncan-Jenkins Committee for funding our trip! The staff said we were the best school group they’ve ever had! #hdmspride
Thanks to Ms. Goonan, our novel came to life today. 6th graders loved examining this camera and these photos from the 1930s and made great connections to one of our major characters - the famous photographer, Edith Irvine. #HDMSpride
