Officers responded this afternoon to the 8400 block of Red Oak Drive for a reported daytime burglary. Thanks to several neighboring agencies assisting, a suspect has been taken into custody. There is no current threat to the community. Full press release to follow.

Officers are conducting a death investigation in the 5200 block of Greenwood Drive. MVPD will issue a press release once more information becomes available.
With profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the passing of K9 Grizz. In early May Grizz experienced a sudden & severe medical emergency. After consulting with emergency veterinarians and considering his condition, the difficult decision was made to let him go peacefully.
We’re deeply grateful for everyone’s patience and understanding as we took time to grieve and process this heartbreaking loss before sharing it publicly. Your support means more to us than words can express.
