@niel_anklebiter@aip551 It doesn’t matter what happens after, dumbass. My brain chemistry is permanently altered because of them. I may not be a sociopath but I’m still damaged. They will burn in Hell for their selfish actions.
@niel_anklebiter@aip551 If thats all they did and didn’t hit you Id understand. But my family advocated for physical punishment so I prayed for revenge. The reason why I hate spanking for a punishment is because I almost became a sociopath. If they had emotional regulation that wouldn’t have been so bad
@niel_anklebiter@aip551 Have you ever seen a farmer strike a sheep? No. They use it to guide them back with the herd. Hitting an animal to cause pain is abuse no matter how you frame it. Same goes with a child.
@niel_anklebiter@aip551 God doesn’t make mistakes people do. Everyone misread that verse. The rod was referring to the rod shepherds use. The rod was meant to represent guidance and protection. “Spare the rod, spoil the child” meant guiding and protecting them so they don’t turn into bad people.
@niel_anklebiter@aip551 Hitting anyone doesnt drive anything away much less foolishness. Its abuse no matter how you try and frame it. My mother tried that same logic with me and it didnt work. You dont hit your spouse out of love, thats domestic violence. Your boss doesnt hit you, thats an HR violation
@niel_anklebiter@aip551 That’s not what that verse means as someone who grew up Catholic. Do your research before you try to justify child abuse with your pea sized brain, fatty
