@elonmusk This ain't a buffet, I don't want the legal system there, but I want it to apply here.
If you skipped it on the way in, it shouldn't apply on the way out.
Britain is heading straight into a succession crisis; no one is talking about it.
- Over 600,000 business owners are aged 55+.
- Most will retire in the next decade.
- Many have no succession plan.
- Most don’t want to sell to competitors.
- And thanks to Labour’s Budget, employee ownership is now dead.
That means tens of thousands of SMEs will:
• shut down
• be asset-stripped
• be swallowed by corporates
• or simply vanish from local communities
The impact on jobs, towns and supply chains will be enormous.
We should be helping employees take over the businesses they work in; instead, Labour have made it financially impossible.
Britain isn’t just losing entrepreneurs; it is about to lose an entire generation of businesses.
And the government is pretending nothing is happening.
We need to stop Labour’s sustained assault on British businesses before it’s too late.
I have no sympathy whatsoever for Rachel Reeves. I don't care if she cries in Parliament, or wherever else frankly. She should be sacked, and a Chancellor with at least a vague understanding of how business operates should be appointed.
My sympathies are with the working families who paying more and more tax to fund lazy scroungers who can't be arsed to work, yet end up receiving more monthly cash than the working family.
My sympathies are with the small business owners who have had to close their doors as a direct result of what Reeves has done to tax, regulation and the cost of doing business. Years of hard work, gone. Almost overnight.
My sympathies are with the British couples who want to start a family, but just can't scratch together the funds to make it happen. Yet a Pakistani family will receive thousands of pounds from our tax every month to have more children. Is that fair? Is that just? Is that right? No. No, it's not.
Working people. Good, genuine, decent and honest working people who have seen their standard of life wiped out by this socialist cabal driving our economy even further into the dust.
So no, I don't really care if Reeves gets upset or not.
She should have the decency to resign.
Weak, and woefully out of her depth. An secondary school economics teacher who regularly gets embarrassed by her pupils - that's her level.
This isn't misogyny, mansplaining, sexism or whatever else. It's the truth. The cold hard truth.
First female chancellor or not, she's done a shit job.
She should be sacked in disgrace for what she has done to our country.

Day 2 of radio silence from @Emirates. I’ve seen hostages get faster replies from their kidnappers.
@EmiratesSupport 🤐
Hope you are getting somewhere @MattGubba with @UPS I am going nowhere with an airline whose business is to get you somewhere…….
@EmiratesSupport@emirates I love how every travel forum, Trustpilot, Reddit and Skytrax is screaming “worst customer service on the planet” and you lot still pretend the only feedback you get is “best airline ever.”
The denial is stronger than your Wi-Fi at 40,000 ft. 💀

@EmiratesSupport I called them and they said to phone you back it was nothing to do with them! Which I agree with!
The online feedback and reports from your loyal customers are true it seems . Your inflight service is incredible your customer service outside of flying is incredibly poor!
@MattGubba@UPS@EmiratesSupport Yes, they are of the belief that by palming you off and forgetting what shocking service they provided that it’s suitable! Not Nobel behaviour at all! King of Scotland does not give his blessing it at all! Let’s see if they UP their game!
@EmiratesSupport having flew with emirates for years and not had issue, I recently had an issue with a booking and their customer service is one of the most shocking experiences I have had! Didn’t expect this for first class and business class travel! Big disappointment!
@EmiratesSupport Email, calls, logs, and DM sent!
It will be interesting to see if it’s a true reach out to resolve or just public display of seeming to want to resolve.
I look forward to hearing from you!
