If you want to address the ‘SEND issue’, start by fully funding LAs & and schools so they can actually implement the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice. Ensure accountability

The Chancellor has confirmed there will be a schools white paper in autumn, which will include the Govt's plans for SEND reform. Constant rumours and speculation about what reform might look like is hugely unsettling for families. We urge the Govt to be clear on its intentions.
