6 years ago @Disneyland - Ursula took over the lobby of the then-Paradise Pier Hotel for a Halloween overlay. I'm curious if anyone knows where this masthead figure came from? Was it created for this display, or was it repurposed from somewhere else in the resort?

5 years ago @Disneyland - we got our first official look (via these photos from Disney) of Plaza Point, the new year-round holiday shop on Main Street, U.S.A.

The store replaced the Main Street Photo Supply Co., which had been rendered mostly obsolete by digital photography.

5 years ago @Disneyland - A new mural by Disney Live Entertainment designer Tim Wollweber appeared in Downtown Disney, to help decorate the then-vacant former ESPN Zone. Wollweber is responsible for artwork throughout the Disneyland Resort, including Haunted Mansion Holiday.

12 years ago @Disneyland - One year after the film "Frozen" hit theaters, Build a Bear Workshop @buildabear released a new 18" Olaf plush with accessories. This toy had a sound box and played "In Summer" when you squeezed his leg.

11 years ago @Disneyland - Halloween Time looked a little different on Main Street U.S.A., as Disneyland was celebrating the Diamond Anniversary. The contrast between the brilliant blue logo and the autumn leaves was lovely against the blue Southern California sky.

It's a day earlier than we expected, but Walt Disney World has raised ticket prices. A one-day, one-park ticket now tops out at $229, though the lowest-priced days remain unchanged at $119. Annual passes and Lightning Lane add-ons are also higher.
