@aliciamcfall The fake RoVer bot tries to get you to click a link (which I did not) and I am assuming it does something to get access to your account. I hope this helps and make sure you guys stay safe!

I was just approached with an elaborate scam after my recent game did well, I am making this thread to spread awareness and share what happened. It starts with them asking to highlight your game in an article for dexerto.

We were just approached by @aliciamcfall to make an article on our Squid Game 2 game. They claim to work for dexerto. I was then invited to a discord server with a fake RoVer bot, and when I confronted them about it, I was kicked from the server and blocked.
