It's been an exciting couple of days since I left Arizona - one highlight being my flight to the Central Coast of CA, which had to take evasive maneuvers during the landing approach, to hop over a plane that flew under us... 😳

I'm at LAX, getting ready to board my first flight to London!!! My wonderful friend dwp* (*her nickname) invited me on this trip of a lifetime over a year ago - today is the Great and Fateful Day!

It's 8:35 pm here in AZ. I leave tomorrow AM for California & almost a month overseas. It's that point in the travel process when I start to feel frazzled about getting everything done in time. Which means it's when I stick my hair up out of the way with @Blackwing pencils! 😅

So in 24 hours, I'll be on a plane to California; and on Sunday my friend and I will fly out of LAX to begin an epic journey to England and Scotland!! It will be hard to leave my works-in-progress, but hardest of all to leave the pups! ❤️

@Rammi @NickHembery My friend has been graciously and amazingly planning the entire trip for a year; and it's shifted and changed with some cancellations. So I only just got our whole itinerary a couple days ago . It's been lovely to have someone else plan for me! Lol 😅

Last night's Blue Supermoon rose out of a thundercloud! There were quick flashes of lightning off to the side, while the moon was on center stage. It was lovely to watch, and totally worth the mosquito bites.
