Amidst the recent S23 series green line scare , I just want to clarify something for owners of these devices:

You can choose to not update, IF you're planning to sell / exchange the device in next couple of months
BUT
Avoiding updates is not the way to go, if you're planning to keep the devices with you for more than 6-9 months.

For the latter category, I have made multiple posts in the past on the best practices to avoid the possibility of Green Line while updating, follow those tips (attached one infographic here as well) - Now , Just for reference in my case I've been holding on to a S23 Ultra for over 3 years now, every single update done without a green line.

Lastly, My recommendation would be to let go of these 3 year old + devices one way or the other , but if you cannot, please update it & even after following all guidelines still things go sideways , drop me a DM.
