๐จ BREAKING:
D.L. Hughley on Zohran Mamdani: "I'm not a New Yorker, but I've owned a home there for 20 years, and I can see the difference between administrations. This is the most humane, selfless, warm, and hopeful administration I've experienced there. These Muslims put Christians to shame."
Jane Fonda: "We're witnessing unprecedented events. Authoritarianism has infiltrated every corner of our government. They're abducting people, illegally deporting US citizens, shooting people, and blinding people. This isn't about right or left; it's about right and wrong."
Ken Paxtonโs former top cop:
What motivates someone like Ken Paxton? Iโve been around him enough. He has two motivations in life: Money and power.
I cannot accurately describe the amount of commitment Ken Paxton had to continue to participate in this criminal enterprise. He was obsessed with it.
He felt like this was his one time in in life to really become wealthy and powerful. So he was gonna double down and do whatever it took to pursue it.

The Two Press Corps
American reporter: Mr. President, Iran says it now controls the Strait of Hormuz. Your response?
Trump: Which news agency are you with?
Reporter: Reuters, sir.
Trump: Fake news.
Reporter: Thank you, Mr. President.
The reporter sits down. The next hand goes up with a question about the White House ballroom.
Later the same afternoon.
European reporter: Mr. President, Iran says it controls the Strait of Hormuz. Tanker traffic is down forty percent. What is your plan?
Trump: Which agency are you with?
Reporter: Deutsche Presse-Agentur. And the question stands.
Trump: Fake news. Total fake news.
Reporter: The shipping data comes from your own Department of Energy, sir. Are they fake news too?
Trump: Next question.
Reporter: That was the next question.
Two reporters, same question, same non-answer. The difference is what happened next. One said thank you and sat down. The other stayed standing and asked again. Access is not journalism. Follow-up questions are.
Sorry, but it's not just Anthropic. Palantir has been working on predictive policing and surveillance of dissidents for the US government for well over a decade. The goal of the Bush admin immediately after 9/11 was pre-crime via "Total Information Awareness" and they have been building it ever since, through the privatization of that program as Palantir. And there are other companies working toward this end to, all with ties to US intelligence or top US officials (Satellogic, SpaceX, Axon/Carbyne, etc.)
Anthropic may be "building" their own private equivalent, but this is something the government and its other private contractors have already built. Under the first Trump admin, Bill Barr as AG created the legal framework for pre-crime. They are just waiting on the right excuse or justification to scale it.
We have to realize how far along this is if we really want to stop it. It is now many companies ushering in a pre-crime paradigm, all with State backing.
๐จBREAKING: Jimmy Kimmel announces his interview with James Talarico will NOT air on ABC tomorrow, saying Trumpโs FCC has threatened him, his show, ABC, its affiliates, and local stations over โsimple traditional editorial decisionsโ and guest bookings.
Katie Phang: So some exciting news today. What's gonna happen on October 17th?
Ezra Levin: Democracy is going to come roaring back. No Kings is back. This No Kings in October is about taking power back for the people and preventing this authoritarian from consolidating power.
Ladies & gentlemen SCOTT JENNINGS.
Scott Jennings: "They should follow the law, but let's not get our knickers in a twist here"
Leigh McGowan: "Yeah, let's not get our knickers in a twist over child rape. Why are you talking like that? It's insane."
๐จ BREAKING:
Jasmine Crockett: "The problem is that Americans thought it was okay to elect a seasoned criminal as president of the United States, then act shocked when he commits crimes. Let me tell you, we have a serial criminal running the US, and if we don't wake up, we may not have a United States left."
๐จ BREAKING:
Madeleine Dean: "The president is mentally disturbed. He's not well."
Mike Johnson: "A lot of people on your side are too."
Dean: "Oh my God, please. That performance in front of the generals?"
Mike Johnson: "I didn't see it."
Dean: "It's incredibly dangerous! Our allies are looking elsewhere. Our enemies are laughing. You have a sick president."
BREAKING: In an incredible moment, a Texas Republican outside of the RNC in Dallas is now endorsing James Talarico because of how corrupt Ken Paxton is. This is amazing.
