Sigh; the reaction to 'No Way Home' and now to the 'Hawkeye' finale seem to be the greatest example I've seen of fandom doing a 180 from adoration to hate in less than 7 days. Release a new Moon Knight trailer in a few days and it'll 180 again. Again.........sigh!
#SpiderManNoWayHome Ok, my screening must have been full of Americans because we do not normally behave this way in the UK. We sit in our seat, sip tea and watch the motion picture through our monacles. Very strange!
@kylepinion Oh my gosh! I literally pulled out my 20 year old DVD of this movie last week because surely nobody would ever release it in HD. Thank you for letting me know sir.
@TheSpencerPerry Even if he were a patsy, he deserves to be in the rogue's gallery for drawing a riddle symbol out of steamed milk. That's, like, so hard to do.
#NoTimeToDie It's clear to me the influence the entire Dark Knight trilogy has had on Craig's run. A loose comparison but very much there.
Casino Royale was Batman Begins. Skyfall was TDK. This one is TDKR. It's longer, messier, crazier, deeper, and some people will hate it :)
@palmer4Cy Best advice I can give you is to stay off Wikipedia and watch your YouTube feed with squinted eyes. There were clips of the film there as early as this morning.
#NoTimeToDie I have so many thoughts racing about this film. It does have problems. I know the main reason I enjoyed it so much was going in cold. This is a page turner thriller. I know it's going to be really hard to avoid spoilers for my American friends but try if you can.
#NoTimeToDie is a renegade Bond film. It breaks every rule in the book to be what it wants to be, and its nuclear bomb twist is where you'll have to decide whether to stay or get off the train. I have no idea what my friends are going to think about it. Me? I had a blast.
#Hawkeye I was not that excited about this show 5 mins ago but now I'm dying to see it. Maybe I'm just a sucker for a Christmas story but this looks delightful. And I hope it ends just like 'Planes, Trains & Automobiles' (yes I know that's a Thanksgiving story, shaddap!).
Thoroughly enjoyed Shang Chi though it reminded me very much of my initial reaction to 'Thor (2011)'; an intimate family drama where the antagonist is miles more interesting and engaging than the hero who suffers as a result, coming off as passive and not earning his stripes.
JUST IN: #TopGunMaverick has moved to Memorial Day weekend of next year, May 27, 2022, and #MissionImpossible7 will now open on September 30, 2022. Additionally, #Jackass4 has moved to February 4, 2022.
I've come out of twitter retirement just to say that WB's handling of these films on home video is officially the most cynical and lazy I have ever seen from a bonus content perspective. Constant double and triple dipping, no retrospective documentary,
but doesn't have the Appendices, and the bonus material it does come with is a cast reunion at the Drafthouse that someone probably filmed with a phone. Sheesh!
no deleted scenes we've waited 20 years to see, no equally illusive blooper reel. I know the 4k transfers are awesome but they're already available. We were told to wait for this version. So let's pay $250 to own the 'ultimate' version that has 31 discs
My father, JW Rinzler, diagnosed w/ pancreatic cancer, is making end-of-life plans. Many people have sent thoughts, prayers—and have asked if they can help--so I am sharing our GoFundMe, to help with his medical expenses. thank you again.
