So today, I made a change that some of you might have noticed on the #BlackWidow episode of @theyouthcritic podcast. I've switched everything over from Podbean to @anchor. This change will not effect the show too much. We might do one ad for shows coming up, but that's it.
The “Have a good life” goodbye into Sam's fantasy of growing old with Diane is perfectly directed, possibly the best television ever, and certainly as beautiful as a sitcom has ever been, or ever will be

It takes a minute to get into it, but once it goes to the academy ratio… that’s when it hits. Also, Jackman should finally get that honorary Oscar (or competition) for mastering the broken Anti-hero so well.

Indie producers can still make movies like “Obsession” cheaply in the U.S. by shooting nonunion.
The breakout horror hit filmed in L.A. for just $750,000, but as domestic production slows, IATSE has been pushing harder to “flip” nonunion projects — driving up costs.
“The films I grew up making, for $500,000 or $1 million, the unions are really interested in having those be signatory projects,” producer David Kaplan says.

Nah, I think we need more filmmakers in a respectable way call out that the thing studios thinks in vogue and delivers in mass quantities isn’t always gonna cut it. You gotta deliver something that makes people feel something.
personally, it's such a turn off of someone's work when they refer to other movies as slop, I'm sorry, no matter how good they are. I know he's well intentioned, IMO his energy would be better spent asking his gen-z fans to just be quiet during the movie.
