It’s getting out of being the lead sales guy from $0–$2M.

From zero to two, if your goal is fast growth, you basically have to be on-call for your business. All. The. Time.

My ass used to be up answering calls at 11PM, and people would literally say:

“This is the best customer service I’ve ever had.”

(this was before AI, call centers, all that)

Everyone wants a “big” business. But from $0–$2M, the truth is simple:

If you’re not willing to answer every fucking phone call, someone else will and they’ll take the market you think you deserve.

I'm sure I'll have guys on here tell me work-life balance blah blah blah. You think your competitors give a shit about work-life balance?
