James Jones say Arizona Cardinals should not trade Marvin Harrison Jr. just yet & weighs in with a WILD story about Mike McCarthy in Green Bay & says even Davante Adams was dropping passes early into his career 🏈

Jones recalled a intense, eye-opening exit interview with his former head coach, Mike

"I walked into my exit interview, and Coach McCarthy said, 'JJ, I want to apologize to you. When you got the ball early, you were a bad man—one of the best receivers in the league. But when we didn't get you started early... you was HOT garbage.'" 😳

Jones admitted McCarthy was 100% right: when a receiver isn't involved early, they lose their focus, their body language drops, and they feel like the QB is never coming their way. That’s the exact same pattern he sees in Marvin Harrison Jr. right now.

"I’ve been around guys like Davante Adams. He didn’t start his career off on fire. Second year, he dropped footbaIIs, people were asking for us to trade him. Thank God we didn’t. He’s about to be a first-ballot Hall of Famer with a gold jacket!" 🧥🐐

The Verdict? Don't trade him—feed him early. Jones insists the Cardinals need to manufacture touches early in games to get Harrison engaged and confident. If they do that and he still drops passes, then maybe it’s time to move on. But until then? Find ways to get him the ball.

Is Jones right or Nah? 🤔

Walker Kessler vs Warriors :

11 PTS
4-6 FG
9 REB (2 Offensive)
1 BLK
1 STL
1 AST

Lakers new big man center's presence on the defensive end is clearly felt any time they attack the rim. He may have only ended up with one blocked shot on the stat sheet but he was bothering everything near him. Can't wait to see how he will look with full minutes next to Luka Doncic.

Steve Smith St. SLAMS the Arizona Cardinals for how they handled Marvin Harrison Jr & trading him away for “a bag of Skittles” to Houston Texans 🤯

“They can say oh we value him, throw them the ball!”

Steve calls out the excuses being made by Coach Mike LeFleur at press conferences instead of just being straight about roster decisions.

“LaFleur [Former Rams OC] left an offense with the Rams, Puka Nacua doesn’t always separate every single time” 🤔

"When you took this job you knew that was the case. You watched film, you got rid of the quarterback. You got rid of the quarterback and you said, you know what, he is so good, we believe in him so much, we going to pay him a what, 40, 50 million dollars? I started to walk away. Or even the Richie."

"They traded Marvin Harrison away because they no longer thought that he was an asset to the team." 👀

"To say that he isn't creating separation. One, okay, that is was exactly his deal in college. That's who he was. They're a possession guys, they are fast guys. So why all of a sudden is that an issue now?"

"We're not adjusting our offense for him. We only will adjust our offense for them, which is Michael Wilson and Trey McBride. They don't believe he's a viable option in this offense."

"They traded Marvin Harrison away because they no longer thought that he was an asset to the team."
