@InsideTrack1958@JacobsBen He cannot be signed as a Utd player until the summer, as he's still under 18.
Not sure why a loan has been mentioned. It's not possible, he's not our player yet.
@JacobsBen English clubs cannot sign foreign players under the age of 18.
There will be no loan involved as he will still be a Club Cerro Porteno player. The agreement may be in place, but he cannot sign to be a Utd player until the summer
@GoalazoShirts @mrewanmurray Move to a summer season? Comes with its own issues but, Imo, it would benefit the Scottish game from grassroots up. No one wants to be playing in sub temps on frozen pitches. Or, when they are not frozen, boggy from the rain.
@TA_MUFC @Nex__tasus@adrifuti@fusionjosh_@EwenDCameron @UFCLFC1 Milan, Dortmund, Barca before that. Then Inter and Utd the year before that.
Happens more often than you think.
And if these big clubs get knocked out, the less people watch. That's essentially why they changed the format - ยฃ
@TA_MUFC @Nex__tasus@adrifuti@fusionjosh_@EwenDCameron @UFCLFC1 Utd & Milan last year. Atletico, Juve & Barca the year before.
In the current format, they are essentially given an extra 2 games, plus some play-off positions to make up for some earlier poor results.
@Nex__tasus@adrifuti@fusionjosh_@EwenDCameron @UFCLFC1 Imo, it's been designed to ensure big clubs don't get eliminated early, and as a way to fit more games (ยฃ) into the schedule.
@Nex__tasus@adrifuti@fusionjosh_@EwenDCameron @UFCLFC1 Does it not just give "big clubs" more opportunities to make up for any shock results? The previous format would see half the clubs eliminated after group. Now it's down to 1/3 with that middle group of clubs given another chance in the playoffs.
@TNSF_@XtremelifeM@rioferdy5@MailSport I actually quite like Tuchel as England manager, I think he'll do well.
I haven't checked but I would assume it's not often a foreign manager winning as few top nations take on a foreign coach and can only be one winner
Question should be why there is a lack of English options.
@TNSF_@XtremelifeM@rioferdy5@MailSport Only 1 world cup or euros has ever been won by a manager foreign to the country that won it. However, that was also a German (Greece).
