OSH practice has gathered momentum in Africa. Capacity development of OSH practitioners/professionals and inspectors, doctors and nurses is scaling up in Lesotho. University partnerships remain key in training. Recent training and exploration of collaboarations in OSH
TB remains a major challenge to workers in the mining industry where exposure to silica obtaining dust increases the risk of TB infection by about three fold. A combination of exposure to silica containing dust and HIV increases this risk by at least 15 fold. # Lung Health
