National Unity Day & Vigilance Awareness Week observed at AVNL – Machine Tool Prototype Factory

To commemorate National Unity Day and as part of Vigilance Awareness Week, Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited (AVNL) organized a ‘Run for Unity’ at the Machine Tool Prototype Factory (MTPF) on 31st October 2025, celebrating the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India.

The programme commenced at 8:30 a.m. with the Unity Run, which was flagged off by Chief General Manager Shri P. K. Bummerkar. Following the run, Shri Bummerkar administered the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas pledge at the Administrative Building Portico, reaffirming the values of integrity, unity, and national security.

Employees from various departments also took the pledge at their respective locations, demonstrating their commitment to uphold the spirit of unity, vigilance, and ethical conduct in public service.
