Please reshare, women of South Africa are under siege unfortunately we don’t have a government. This can’t be normal! It’s business as usual to the GNU yet they released 600 million of our taxes to protect illegal foreigners but with our children, sisters, mothers & citizens of this country they’re doing nothing!
I want people to remember Sivenathi Toto as the young woman she was before the attack.
Sive was only 23.
In August 2022 she was attacked so severely in George that her life changed permanently. According to the case before court, she was dragged from her home, assaulted until she lost consciousness and then dumped near a petrol station.
She survived.
But she suffered severe brain damage and a stroke. She lost her ability to speak and walk independently and is now permanently wheelchair-bound and dependent on other people for her daily care.
The man accused of attacking her was reportedly granted bail the day after his arrest.
Action Society became involved and continued monitoring her case. Four years later, the court process is still continuing.
When we talk about GBV victims, we understandably speak about the women who have been murdered.
But there are also women like Sive.
Alive, but carrying catastrophic injuries for the rest of their lives.
Her life cannot simply become another forgotten court file because she survived.
Say her name too.

🇿🇦 HACKED: Standard Bank of South Africa loses 1.2 terabyte of data to hackers.
A threat actor has revealed that 1.2TB of confidential data stolen from Standard Bank, which includes client credit card information, will now be leaked online in parts.
The bank, the largest in South Africa by assets, was breached in late February, with the hacker known as “ROOTBOY” claiming that they spent “just over three weeks” in the bank’s system undetected.
On 23 March 2026, both Standard Bank and its subsidiary, Liberty, a life insurer and investment provider, reported that they had suffered data breaches at the hands of unknown actors.
Standard Bank stated that a limited set of client credit card details, including card numbers and expiry dates, appeared to have been leaked online.

NOTE: Standard Bank operates as Stanbic Bank in markets where it's rival and British conglomerate Standard Chartered Bank exists.

COMMENT:
Good to see some movement in the Tembisa Hospital scandal with more assets going to be seized.
Every step towards accountability is welcome.
But one critical question still hangs over this case:
If businessman Hangwani Morgan Maumela is allegedly the mastermind behind the multibillion-rand tender fraud and looting syndicate at Tembisa Hospital, why has he still not been criminally charged?
Is he being protected?
The SIU’s investigation uncovered alleged procurement irregularities involving more than R2-billion meant for healthcare.
Investigators say dozens of proxy and front companies were allegedly used to secure contracts, while the Asset Forfeiture Unit and SIU obtained preservation orders for assets reportedly worth more than R300 million, including luxury properties and high-end vehicles.
Yet despite these developments, Maumela has not been criminally charged.
The NPA has previously indicated that it is working to convert the evidence gathered during the investigations into admissible, trial-ready evidence. If that is the reason for the delay, the public deserves regular updates.
South Africans have watched this scandal unfold for years while public healthcare suffered.
The focus now must be on ensuring that everyone allegedly responsiblewhether public officials, businesspeople or facilitators-is held accountable through the courts.
Justice must not only be done; it must be seen to be done.

HEARTBREAKING💔 | A 45-year-old Zimbabwean-born IT manager, Ndodana "Mark" Tshuma, is wanted by police in the UK after his wife, Zandile Tshuma (42), and their two daughters, Natalie (15) and Nala (5), were found dead at their home in Bedford.
Police say Tshuma left the UK on Saturday and flew to Zimbabwe. CCTV footage captured him at Heathrow Airport shortly before the bodies were discovered. Authorities are now working with international agencies to locate him and have urged him to surrender to the police.
Friends of the family said Zandile had decided to end the marriage and was planning to start a new life with her daughters. They said the couple had been experiencing marital problems for some time and were preparing to divorce, including arranging for their £1.3 million home to be valued for sale. Some friends described Mark as controlling and said he did not want the marriage to end.
Zandile was a successful financial crime and anti-money laundering specialist who had worked for major organisations, including Barclays and KPMG. She was also active in fraud prevention work and had a strong professional reputation.
Police have described the case as a complex investigation and said there is no indication of any wider threat to the public. The family, originally from Zimbabwe, had lived in Bedford since 2011 and were well known in their community.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are continuing efforts to locate Tshuma and establish exactly what happened.
